I remember when I first met Jimmy Valiant. I met him at a K-mart. I was in better shape back then back in like 2003. He offered to train me at his school in Virginia. I should of took his offer up. I guess I was kind of more into bodybuilding than anything plus I had a stable job that paid pretty decent. Now I am trying to live for Jesus Christ. May God bless him.

Valiant was a fan favorite who didn't always use legal means to win. Not the most outstanding wrestler, but one of the most popular wrestlers ever. He could easily headline anywhere he went -- he didn't need titles. Under-rated ... especially by other wrestlers ... in his ability to draw a crowd. Arguably, his greatest success was in the 80's! Nice video.

I was trained as a professional wrestler by him, went to his school BWC in Shawsville VA class of 2004. I wrestled an indy match in NJ June of 2005 and had him and Johnny Valiant manage me VS Big Bad John {an indy wrestler}, also I was managed by Johnny Valiant several times. I went on as The Night Ninja {ring name} to wrestle Roddy Piper, Lanny Poffo, Headshrinker Samu, Tito Torres and more.

I saw him wrestling in the 80s. I remember him on NWA wrestling on Saturdays on TBS. I also remember seeing him wrestle live with my uncle at the old Cleveland Stadium after an indians game against the A's. not sure if Joe Carter was still with the Indians then but I know Cory Snyder was. I remember him, the Rock n Roll Express, and Nikita Koloff. Then I saw him on the UWF on ESPN Classic, did not know who he was until I saw him in a match on there. That beard was just so long then.

Ive got some recent photos of him with me and my family, im 6 foot even and i still look small next to him.

You should probably watch WCW from the mid-80s. That shit was real pro-wrestling, not the fucking cartoon show WWF and especially WWE so often put on over the years, and The Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant was one of the absolute best, even in his 40s.
