When support is called for you really should get there asap. While you did kill the mechs you went after your team lost the fight. I had a sense this was going to happen when I looked at the minimap and saw the way the teams were split. Efficiency is key when wolf packing. You need to kill quickly and get back to the main team asap. In saying all that you did have a lot of 228 on the enemy team. Although I would also argue that you had the better 228 players on your side just not as many of them and they weren't supported. That's a dangerous little mech. Enjoyed the games. Thank you Bara :D
@pvtred
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they were calling for help and I knew they were up against the 228 lance. They stood little chance. Sometimes I wonder if Bara just hunts for kills.
@Arkeli5
3 жыл бұрын
@@pvtred To be fair. I could understand why he continued on because he felt he had traveled too far to get back to help but this is flawed thinking. You should always try to get back to the team if they are calling for help, especially when the majority are the ones calling. Bara has often called for backup in matches and gets frustrated when it doesn't come and here he had the chance to follow the same rule but chose not to go back and help. An ideal wolf pack is fast moving and kills enemy backs quickly then rejoins the team asap. If you cannot do that then stick with the main team and run interference during engagements. But hey each to their own :D

This mech looks like a lot of fun to play and I'm so glad you showed it. I was thinking of requesting you do the "noisy cricket" cicada or the "boom chicken" raven, tho I think those would just end up being for LOLs cause they're so tiny. This was great, and your kill on that Arctic Wolf in game 2 was just a sight to behold :) the way you predicted his movements and just squashed him in a mini ambush was brilliant.

Good job Baradul like usual. One thing i figured out if you hit the pipes on mining collective with a weak jj mech like this one it bumps you up to the top instantly (kinda buggy or strange design), works like a charm. Your position was perfect for that in the 2nd game.

How Many dmg does override? Sometimes when I go override just a bit over 100% i instantly died or lose an arm leg side torso... It feels like now you get more dmg when you override
@AkalaTanara
3 жыл бұрын
Don't know on the damage, but overriding is basically turning off the safety feature of auto-shutdown, so its just ASKING to go BOOM basically. Amusingly I just started playing BattleTech again on the RogueTech mod, and one of my first mechs was a Gauntlet (Bushwacker style mech) that I risked ONE overheat on, it overheated and shutdown on the killing blow of a final target within sight of the pilot, and roll failed to not shutdown, so mech was shutdown, my commander was pilot. When overheating unless special equipment is had, it can add an injury to the pilot, so she took one knock and I had forgotten about that. Next two turns, she failed to start up and was still well overheated, and got KO'd from that single overheat that I was like "Nah this'll be fine, what could go wrong?" Answer? Everything! XD I was lucky it was my commander, otherwise, they'd be dead.
