The first Led Zeppelin album was all Tele. Tele's are capable of ANY style of rock and metal. We play 60's to 80's from Stones to Van Halen and Judas Priest. The Tele does not disappoint. It delivers. Just make sure you're using a noise gate, or zero you guitar volume between songs if your Tele has single coils.

At the end of 2019/ beginning of 2020 Jimmy page’s telecaster release was lit a fire in my mind to get a telecaster. Jimmy Page, Joe Strummer, Bruce Springsteen, and Brad Paisley were the one who made me get my telecaster. Brad’s playing is country but isn’t country at the same. It’s a welcoming sound he has. Really sweat guitar and seems like a nice guy too.

That's because he's a country player but anybody in the know knows that Brad Paisley is a straight up virtuoso guitarist. He can be Wes Montgomery and Chet Atkins and Eric Clapton all in one song. Check out Time Warp and Make a Mistake With Me or Nervous Breakdown for proof of this statement. Just to name a few.

@Thrash Metal Studio It doesn't to keep the price point down. You can pay another thousand to have Joe put one in for you, but I like mine as is. I also have a classic vibe tele, it's not bad, but it doesn't compare to a guitar meticulously designed by a well known guitarist.

Me either hes got some good licks but over plays alot and I've heard absolutely great country songs he's done like "hold me in your arms"? He absolutely plays the shittiest guitar solos I've ever heard and it's a great song to just get that honking country sound but fails

@@willchapman._ you’re right though it’s a little more for the Glaser depending on the guitar. Just had one done. My point is that if they can do it with the Mason surely they can do it with the Paisley. I suspect it has something to do with Paisley using McVay benders and not Glaser. Cool guitar tho. The arm worn part is silly

@@Shriemwm1394 I didn’t listen to every second. Does he say it’s a Glaser? I know he’s on Glaser’s website playing one but he’s been an endorser of McVay for a long time. At least according to Paisley’s site in the past. All the more if he’s using Glaser do what the Mason telecaster did. Add one as an option. No one thinks of Brad Paisley without a bender. But I do like the color of this one much better. The first one was only very similar in name to what its based on. That one has a rosewood board and it was also not an option in the signature model. Just doesn’t make sense to offer a signature guitar that is played only retroactively by the artist. They should be inspired by rather than signature. I also like how they have his Z hidden from the brand but you know he’s going through that!!

@@gregjohnson6329 you can just tell by looking at it. The glaser feeds the string from the top. He mostly uses mcvay, but does have a few with glaser benders. He doesnt mention in the video what it is though

I'm not a country fan at all, that being said I had never put too much effort into listening to it, including Brad Paisley. Well KZitem came up with a video of him playing guitar. I thought what the heck I'll give it a listen. I was pleasantly surprised and shocked at how great of a guitarist. I mean he blew my socks off the man can play and then some. I guess the old adage is true to never judge a book by its cover. He's got some serious chops and definatly worth a listen. 🎶

I hate relics due to the principle alone. Dont care how good/bad it looks, i refuse to pay the price of a new guitar which is made to look old. When i was in highschool kids would buy pre-ripped jeans and it drove me nuts as a poor kid who had ripped jeans because i couldn't afford new ones... same reason why i refuse to buy a relic guitar. Its so ridiculous in my opinion. No hate if you like that, you like what you like.

It really is amazing how polarizing the whole relicing thing is for people. For the most part people either completely hate it or love it. Rarely is there middle ground.

@@GravyHucker I just jab a phillips head screwdriver into the finish a couple times when I purchase a new Fender. It gives it character, people think I bought a more expensive guitar, and the sturdy build of a Fender means that she can handle it. Win-win.

Sure would be nice if they offered a Paisley signature model that actually had a G-Bender in it so you could play all the stuff he is playing in this video. Without that it is just another MIM guitar. Any guitar you put in Brad's hands is gonna sound phenomenal. Do what you did on the Brent Mason model and put that Bender in it!

@@src248 I believe they are called Broadcaster or Telecaster, something like that. Not entirely sure though. I just own the single pickup style ones called Esquire. I feel privileged to own a 54 and a 55. Highly recommend them!

To saturated with effects we all ready have a zz top there’s nothing original it’s an identifiable sound for him a sound saturated he’s got great picking hands to bad there both drowning in electronics and he’s not alone. But if you like that sort of thing enjoy.he’s a good singer .

I mean its cool but I think I like Fenders 70th anniversary Esquire better. I know fender made some of what they call double Esquires with 2 pickups but that's not traditional to me. To each their own though. Brad is awesome anyhow.

His Signature Tone is a combination of his picking style but A LOT comes from his Dr.Z Amps. A few months ago i had the chance to play a Telecaster through a Z-Combo and even if i don't have the skills to play like Brad Paisley this punchy country-tone was right there. It was amazing but these Amps are very expensive.

@@AlexGroen Yeah he loves AC30's and that's basically what a Z is but Brad uses vintage AC30's for sure. He also doesn't use a compressor if I'm not mistaken. He's one of the few country guys that can get that hardcore twang without one. I think he mentioned that to Joe Bonamassa in that interview they did a month or so ago. He also said that his sound is all about AC30's also. The main pedal he uses is a Wampler Paisley Drive Deluxe that was built specifically for him but you can buy it. It's one of Wampler's best selling pedals. I actually saw him live in about 2005 or so and after the show I walked behind the curtain in the arena to look at his rig and on stage he had a bunch of Z's but behind the curtain he literally had an AC30 sitting there with a mic in front of it. AC30's are awesome and the clean sound of a Vox and a Tele together is absolutely incomparable.
