The actress playing Lucy Winter is Pamelyn Ferdin. She was a very active child actor at the time, but is best known for portraying Felix's daughter in the "Odd Couple". Fun trivia fact: Ms. Ferdin was one of the girls set to play the role of Regan MacNeil in the film version of "The Exorcist". That infamous role of course eventually went to Linda Blair.
@atlantic-yq2wr
8 жыл бұрын
+Jim Michaud A few other things. One of her greatest roles was as the deaf girl who regained her hearing in The New Lassie series starring an adult Jon Provost (Timmy from the original Lassie series). Second, her parents had thought over her auditioning for the role of Regan MacNeil, and pretty much withdrew her candidacy due to its graphic content. Finally, Pamelyn has unfortunately hit upon hard legal and psychological times. A fanatical animal rights activist, she has been arrested and incarcerated several times for invading and destroying laboratories conducting animal research to find cures for deadly diseases, and has even been quoted as saying that animals are worth more than people. (Ouch).

Ferdin was fortunate NOT to be cast in that ghastly film The Exorcist, which ultimately led to B movie oblivion for Linda Blair. Ferdin's best film role was probably in The Beguiled where she receives a full, earnest kiss on the lips from wounded Civil War soldier Clint Eastwood.
