Thanks Jeff for the review. I am retired canadian army and I had a woodland pattern M65 got it way back in 1987 when I did some joint training with Americian Army long story short, I traded for it and loved it..espicially the liner..way better than the horse blanket we had in our issue jackets.....thanks to your review, I pulled the trigger on one from Military first..got it in green..Cheers

I have an original one here that I bought in 1982. It came with the liner. I got it from a Army Surplus shop, here in England. It was big when I bought it, but it fits me great now. Everyone wanted to buy it off of me in 1984 when the film Rambo came out! All the best.👍🏾

The Rambo movie certainly inspired many to buy an M-65, as well as the Buck knife. Thanks for commenting!

Does it cloak your body heat, so their drones can't detect you at night? Just kidding. Great video, keep helping people, brother.

good video. How cold does it get there in winter bud?
@jeffslaven

Not Canadian cold, but we do get snow in the upper elevations. The wind chill is the big factor!

@@jeffslaven yeah, just wanted to know numbers so I could compare them to here. That'd looks to ne a light coat even with the liner compared to what we need here...

@@randyyeager I wore my M65 through several Northern Michigan winters. Of course I used the liner. Just wore a T-shirt and sweatshirt under it.

@@Old_Sailor85 we can go down into the -40s C without wind chill in central Sask. When I lived in Yellowknife, it made it down to mid -50s. Had a few days, with windchill it was in the -80's...but that extremely rare. I used to wear a Canadian army surplus jacket with the liner. Was ok to the -40C, but didn't cut it to the -50C are colder

Does the jacket run big ?

I ordered a medium which is my normal size. With the liner, it ran per normal. A bit roomier with the liner removed.
