This video is a short chronograph test to make sure that the power of the BSA R10 Mk2 is not over the legal limit. In a previous video I had adjusted the power of the rifle after shooting the Pro-Hunter 13 grain slugs. In initial tests the slugs were only achieving around 9.8 ft/lbs. After adjusting the hammer spring adjuster I was able to raise the power to 10.5 ftlbs average.
Although the slugs weighed 13 grains, the pellets in the test weighed from 8.44 grains to 10.65 grains. You would think that the heavier slug would be equal more power, but from this video shows that it all depends on the diameter of the projectile, and how it fits the barrel. After the tests I reach my conclusions. Will it need the power adjusting up or down, or no adjustment needed at all ????
