I don't usually talk about build and comfort but here are some extra comments: COMFORT: great as expected; the Senny negative-profile shell is very small and ergonomic. Most people barely feel it. BUILD: the IEM itself is fine (plastic but well-assembled) but yes, the cable is absolute GARBO and absolutely lacking in terms of the current competition.

I just picked up a set of ie200s the other day since they are currently on sale for $119. During my first impressions they seemed a bit bright, I swapped out the tips for the foam and that reduced the treble, next I applied the tape mod, that gave the bass more body and stronger impact. Those two changes turned these iems into something with a boring studio sound into something I can really enjoy my music with. They have a good amount of detail and clarity. I use an hd800s at home as my daily, these don't sound anywhere near as good as those but they do have a similar presentation. The cable doesn't bother me too much after I put a velcro strap on it...

With everyone mentioning the cable, I was surprised when it came and was… just a cable. Its light weight is kinda an upside and having to work the ear hooks when putting them on is more to do with how small the body is and how deep they’re seated, which is also a plus *for the IEM, itself. I appreciate the strengths of the IE200 but I ended up returning them. The cable issues, the tip issues, the fit that is so secure in the outer ear canal that is actually becomes irritating, I found ways to deal with all of that. What killed the IE200 for me is the somewhat "plastic-y" quality of the mids. I guess I just don't like the technicalities of this SPD-like driver, it is very fast and resolving almost like a BA but the texture is just dry and lifeless, not even that cold or metallic which I can live with but it's like the opposite of lush, just kind of cheap sounding. Maybe the IE600 is truly next-level over this but I found many IEMs around the IE200 price (and lower) that I would prefer. Hell the SPD in the Kinera IEMs sounds more natural to me and those are way less.

So, did I miss something? IEM stands for in ear monitors. Those are what we musicians use on stage or sometimes in the studio if we do live recordings. So they're not meant to be used to listen to music, they're specialized in being eq-ed so that you hear the things you want to hear and don't hear the things you don't want to hear. They're similar to studio headphones: They're not made to make music sound good to a consumer. So why should somebody use IEMs for listening to music? I don't understand but I'm not part of the audiophile community so I really don't know.

IEM in this case (consumer grade in-ear earphones) is more of a misnomer. The only things in common between this and a real deal IEM are that they fit into our ear canals and make sound. My right ie 300 died like 5 months after I bought them due to the god awful cable they are using (the earhook "spring" broke and I was wearing them for some time like that which put pressure on the connector killing it - no way to repair and Sennheiser didn't honor warranty since I bought them from reseller outside of supported regions or something like that). Since they are using standard connector, but custom housing for it (dick move and it looks the same with those ones) I couldn't use other cables with them and the one they had (apart from the issue described) was also transferring any slightest touch with anything as loud noise to the headphone. Please do a Zeos thing and mention the whole headphone in a review (cable included) as those are actually important. If the cable is not changed with those headphones I would not recommend them no matter what. I loved the sound tho indeed, so that with less bass sound pretty good too.

And if you want their cable with a 4.4mm connector, it’s another $150.

B- techs seem to be a little underwhelming for the price. Hexa is A+ tone & B tech for way cheaper

These have amazing bass, at least when tape modded. And have gone on sale for $100

And it is. Hexa gets B techs, at least how I see it, because it's a Hybrid and the 3 BAs really make a difference in the technical performance.

comfort is a major consideration for some and not a single one of those chifis even remotely approaches the IE series in that regard

I got the IE 300 and the cable broke after a month of basic use. Horrific design that's anti consumer since you cant replace the cable with another standard one.

My question is now, how do they compare sound wise with KZ ZVX's or Moondrop Chu's or something alot less expensive? Would come over to the shop to try out, but I've not been back to Malayisa for like 10 years, therefore also nowhere near Singapore.

Aha the Moondrop Chu's are a B***. But with how "bad" the ie300 are supposed to be and then being at B* doesn't sound that bad. Also couldn't find the ie200's on the list

Crinacle has yet to review many AND I MEAN MANY! Iems that are now populair in this current market. The Chu has had a lot of QC Issues and isn't sold anymore. The KZ KVX is a fine V-shape option, but not recommend by most. The Market has changed to the point that I would say B- are good Value till 39, B till 100, B+ till 200, A- till 300, A till 500. If you want something under 20. Then I would recommend looking into the Moondrop Chu 2 and Truthear Hola for Comfortable IEMS, Simgot EW100P and the better DSP version for most neutral sounding option. The Tanchjim One (both versions) for best Bullit Style Iem (normal looking earbud)

Hello sir, i really love in earbuds but im open for everthing now after using a logitech x pro 😂 for competitive fps gaming. What will be the best option without spending 1000 of dollars. Like 4-600 on a headphone or iem is fine. Please give me some feedback so i can buy them right away. Also i will search for an amp/dac and microphone or do you just plugin in the pc? 🙏 Grtz from belgium Europe
