Here's something that neither the video nor the internet can kill: the wonderful mix that you just made. It's one of the disco/new wave songs that truly deserves an extraordinary extension. What a purrfect touch to an already wonderful classic! You keep rockin', DJ Disco Cat!!!

Increíble versión del tema, la mujer de negro, the hollies, de las mejores décadas del mundo, 60,70,80, y algo de los 90s, está canción de los 70s, rompe todo, es sencillamente inmortal, es como digo yo ,para tumbar la casa.

I heard you on my wireless back in '52 Lying awake, intent at tuning in on you If I was young, it didn't stop you coming through Oh-a, oh-a They took the credit for your second symphony Rewritten by machine and new technology And now I understand the problems you can see Oh-a oh-a I met your children Oh-a oh-a What did you tell them? Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star Pictures came and broke your heart Oh-a-a-a oh And now we meet in an abandoned studio We hear the playback and it seems so long ago And you remember the jingles used to go Oh-a oh-a You were the first one Oh-a oh-a You are the last one Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star In my mind and in my car We can't rewind, we've gone too far Oh-a-aho oh Oh-a-aho oh Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star In my mind and in my car We can't rewind, we've gone too far Pictures came and broke your heart Put the blame on VCR You are a radio star You are a radio star Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star Video killed the radio star

I saw this video when it first came out in MTv and it got a ton of airplay. I told myself I would have little chance of ever meeting Geoff Downes. Years later have hung out with him on multiple occasions, calls me by name, and I gave him a stage suggestion for his rig, that he uses to this day. Great guy!

Excellent production as ever. Thanks for a trip down Memory Lane once again. Take care CliveakaSpyda. PS Please may I make a personal request, if at all possible could you work your magic on a fantastic late 70s disco song by Carolyne Bernier Hold Me, Touch Me, that is if you've not done so before. I came across it this evening and think it's quite fun and a special little disco piece which I hope enjoy too. (But I'm 99.9‰ sure you've got a copy). Best wishes from good old wet UK wet as usual for Guy Fawkes bonfires & fireworks weekend!

Great work here DJDicoCatV2, Trevor Horn is a true innovator, his production methods were and still are trailblazing, he revolutionised the sound of a post punk / new wave band from Liverpool called Frankie Goes To Hollywood, his work on a very basic track RELAX turned them into global superstars, Trevor also played and produced with prog rock megastars YES, he has to go down as one of the greats, imo you have made a superb choice here, I’m sure just like TH you aspire to inspire, keep up the amazing work DiscoCatV2, I know you are definitely inspiring hundreds of like minded people right now, kudos to you, bravo, all the world is a stage 👍😎💪.
