2016 marks 150 years since the opening of the branch line from Cholsey to Wallingford, affectionately known as the Bunk Line. As part of the celebrations, the Cholsey & Wallingford Railway hired in Great Western Pannier Tank no.6430, from the Llangollen Railway, making this her third visit to the line, having previously visited in 2009 and 2010. Her stay on the line would see her running every weekend in July and the first weekend of August, working a total of six round trips a day, to an hourly timetable. She certainly looked the part, with her set of two chocolate and cream Mark 1 coaches. This short video sees her at various locations, as she trundles along the line with a train bound for Cholsey.
Filmed on a Panasonic HS900 with a Pro Sound L92AA microphone.
Enjoy.
