Insa-dong is a dong, or neighborhood in the Jongno-gu district of Seoul. The main street is Insadong-gil, which is connected to a multitude of alleys that lead deeper into the district,[1] with modern galleries and tea shops.[2] Historically, it was the largest market for antiques and artwork in Korea.[3]
Stretching across 12.7 hectares (or 31.4 acres),[4] the district is bordered by Gwanhun-dong to the north, Nagwon-dong to the east, and Jongno 2-ga and Jeokseon-dong to the south, and Gongpyeong-dong to the west.
We had an amazing time going through the busy streets of Insa-dong, so many restaurants and shops to choose from. We had the famous chicken and beer and also we've tried PATBUNGSU. BINGSU a Korean dessert. Bingsu (Korean: 빙수; Hanja: 氷水), sometimes written as bingsoo,[1] is a milk-based Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings that may include chopped fruit, condensed milk, fruit syrup, and red beans.
