We have pots of the scented geraniums around our fish pond in summer to keep the skeeters away. They work beautifully and sometimes, they even flower. But the blossoms are not showy, compared to our other geraniums. We live in Beijing, and the bitterly cold arid winter kills them if we don't wrap them up warm. Thank you. Really enjoyed the garden tour.

+The WiFi Garden Thanks! Yes dwarf trees are the best way to plant fruit trees - they dont take up a lot of space and produce a lot of fruit! Guavas are the only trees where I have not been able to find dwarf varieties, but everything else I grow are dwarfs.

Beautiful!! I'm at peace in your lovely garden. You are so inspiring...also just to mention I grow Geranium too I infuse large pot of apples that I'm steam or stewing, add some chopped leaves and put on my oatmeal. Leftover's - freeze/refrigerate. For pound or sponge cake I line the smaller leaves on the bottom of my cake tin, the leaves just permeate the whole cake, also I infuse my semolina or polenta puddings.

hi there, I have a suggestion here... it would be nice if you include the age of the plant which u are following up in every vedio..eg: korabis, cabbages and onions etc. that way it will help new gardeners to understand plant progress and span of each plant variety easily.

Hi Charlie, I've got a question about your tangerines. How long ago did you plant it, what do you use to fertilize it, how many hours of sun does it get? I've seen your video on planting a citrus tree but I think that was your lemon tree. Those tangerines looked so yummy.
@CaliforniaGardening
8 жыл бұрын
+wonderlucha Yes these tangerines are yummy! If you want to get one, try Home Depot or Lowes. In March they start selling citrus trees. You can even grow this in a large container! For fertilizers, I use the same schedule as I use for my other fruit trees, once in March then once in late summer (around September). Sometimes I might add another dressing of compost in between. Hope that helps!

How do you protect your cabbage from bugs infestation? I grew cabbage and Brussel sprouts but ended up digging them up and throwing them out because they were almost completely covered in aphids.
