Parker made some cool pattern designs with different blade set configurations. This one is similar to a Case Gunboat. However, they have the correct blade set for a Cattle knife including a main spear point, sheepfoot and spay blade. Opening two blades running on one back spring, with one blade partially open; increase the pressure on the back spring making the opposing blade much harder to open. I believe Sheffield knives have overly strong back springs because there trying to make slip joints as strong as possible. Intending to circumvent the locking blade laws prohibiting carrying one in the UK. It does make them child proof from small children using them.👍

Along with the Schrade-Wolstenholm range of knives, this one would have been among the swansongs for the old Wolstenholme cutlers. Important knives in their own way. Thanks for showing it. I'd not seen one.

@@rasputinscastle Although they were all under one company and one roof by then, I think they were still working independently. I guessed it was the Wostenholm cutlers who made this knife as it is so similar to the Shrade-Wostenholm canoe.

Now I dig that knife! Beautiful stag. Thanks for sharing that Bro! The pull does look intense though. Might be a nail puller.
