The day after Lawler was released from the hospital, he was booked as a guest of this local indy wrestling show that me and my friend went to. After the show, there was a post-show gather at a local bar. Me and my friend went because we were hungry, and we were friendly with a few of the wrestlers, because we were one of those regulars who were at every show. The place was packed, and Lawler came in and asked if he could sit with us. He then proceeded to order this huge bacon double cheeseburger with extra fries and fried cheese sticks. Me and my friend were like, "DUDE! YOU JUST HAD A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK!!! YOU GOT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL YESTERDAY!!!". Lawler just laughed and said, "Yeah. It's okay. They fixed that.". He was such a funny guy and it was really cool having dinner with him. he was a really nice guy.
