Karen was so gracious. I always noticed how she'd give a little bow of appreciation when the audience would applaud as they recognized what song she was starting to sing. You can see it here, at the very beginning, right after she sings the words, "I'll say goodbye to love..."

He spoke so fondly of Richard and Karen and a part of me had the hunch that he loved KC.... At least now Tony and Karen can make great music together in heaven. I love you Karen and I love you Tony! This awesome performance by Karen and the entire band with orchestra is the best Corona antidote I can imagine to lift your spirit. When that chorus of voices comes in you think it couldn't get much better until you hear Tony Peluso's fuzzed out guitar and the song goes to yet another level. The ending is so spectacular with Karen filling in on backing vocal. What this music has that much of today's music ignores is a build of intensity, level upon level. Think Let it Be, think Light My Fire and on and on. Only the greatest tunes and players seem to understand this. Impossible not to have an emotional reaction- exaltation. Thank you for the awesome post.
