Elliott Easton is the most eclectic, creative, Picasso like player in history. His solos are a collection of misshapen jigsaw pieces that magically fit together seamlessly producing masterpiece after masterpiece.

The verses are always tricky. I love how Ric never loses his entry points. The contrast from the complex verses to that Catchy much more simple chorus is great.

Thanks for posting. Among the many points to discuss about this vid, I'd like to say I've never been more impressed with a rock n'roll audience; the enthusiasm that builds as Elliot begins his solo reveals the crowd knows talent. The robust applause at the end of the solo shows class; Elliot delivered and the audience reciprocates.

Absolutely agree with everything you stated in your comment! Here we sit in March 2021, still unable to even think about when live concerts will come back to us in these days of the _____ Covid. I got chills listening to the audience howling & wooing...one of the best feelings in the world to actually be there live. Maybe sometime again.....In the interim, this song kicks ass big time in every way! 🎸🎤🎧💙

bass was pre-recorded for much of the show, vs "replacing" Ben Orr. for a few songs, including this one, Greg's synth parts were pre-recorded so Greg could play bass. my understanding from an interview years ago was that those pre-recordings were somehow MIDI triggered by the drums. The verse portion of this song has two different time signatures going on simultaneously which then transitions to the same timing during the chorus, which I could see that all throwing off the timing and creating the issue you mentioned. I was at this show and they definitely weren't lip synching to a fully pre-recorded set.

It was a flub on the bass playing note early which threw it out of sync with the drum beat. He recovered nicely right at start of chorus though.
