Thanks for your review. I was interested in the battery life of this Wave Receptor watch and, for those interested to know, according to Casio it is a 2 year battery life. I have purchased many Casio watches over the last 15 years and the plastic straps always crack and fall off within 2 years of purchase (and no abuse). Battery life of the watch models I have owned are stated by Casio to be 10 years. I have around 12 such watches, all of which are sitting in a cupboard with broken plastic straps. I can confirm that the battery life has already exceeded 10 years for some of these watches and none have yet died or ever required a battery replacement. Whenever a strap breaks, I usually just buy another new watch as the price of the new watch is about the same as a replacement strap. Thanks for your video

I have a Waveceptor, WVA-M650, that I love. It has an analog dial with digital windows and is solar powered.

That sounds very interesting! I’ll have to look that up, and it sounds like it offers a lot to it’s user!

I should add that I couldn't find it locally and purchased it on Amazon from a vendor in Japan.
