I will add some photos of things I am working on at the moment and can give you quick progress updates.
This was my second marble machine which was made early 2017.
The whole mechanism measures at Length x 60cm Width x 20cm and the height is about 30 cm.
The ball is launched about 50 cm into the air. The distance can change depending on the humidity and seasons so the catching claw can slide on the wooden tracks. There is a slight squeak at the moment because of the rain outside!
The gears were cut on my scroll saw using Matthias Wandel's excellent gear template software. Thanks to Denha for inspiring me to make my own machines.
There is a pendulum powered paper cow in the background designed by the wonderful Rob Ives
