Came around here when you had posted is some days ago... Just found this again, and now i gotta say it is such an amazing album. What was that so callled story you had in your head, that lead you to make this? That's what i first wondered when i heard this for the first time.

@@Itsjustme108 Part 1) I pictured A Man going through a horrific tragedy, his wife and daughter burn in a house fire. He lives in dread, empty. No purpose. Days just go by, so, he leaves his home, travels by boat across sea, alone. He finds a place of worship on the tip of a peninsula. A very large one. A very active community. Everyone knows everyone, everyone loves everyone. It seems like his calling, He needs a spiritual awakening. A reason to live again. He enters the cathedral during hours where there is no worship, only to be greeted with thick panic in the air. A chalice has gone missing. A chalice of honor, and there is no suspect. The members of the church find this worrying, but after their anxiety, they tell The Man he is of course welcome to stay and join them in their community. The choir members being especially inviting to The Man, almost alluring. Almost too much. He spends his day exploring the very large structure, by his lonesome, as the church members are a bit too much for Him. Night arrives. He has his own room, but cannot shake his feeling of dread. It seems to have worsened since he climbed off wood and onto dirt from the boat, and he cannot shut his eyes. He can almost hear the hums of his lost loved ones, it’s agonizing. He is awake through the night, long enough to watch the passing of dawn. Part 2) He hears a bell toll, exits his room, and no one is around. He begins to doubt his mind, He must be insane, delirious. He searches the halls, he searches the nave, he searches everywhere, and no one. No one is here. They’re gone. Part 3) He goes outside, and in the sky, God? No. Indescribable, unrecognizable things. Things, the most fitting English word for them, it, one being or more, who is to say. The Man calls out to God, screaming for help. Nothing. He tells himself to wake up, this is not real. He is asleep, he has been and he damn well knows he is asleep. Until the choir sings, from whatever orifice The Thing produced it from, the choir is within it. A hivemind, not a crazy cult or religious fanatics, but a hivemind being, sucking the life out of us smalls creatures in our own reality. Each of the church members one by one. He thinks of his wife one last time, and embraces his own death as his mind bends.

@@LuckwickedYT ¡Sounds pretty interesting! And, don't worry about it nor feel sorry about it, i'm always curious of the stories other people can tell. This has potential, i think. If you wanted to redact all of this, like, make it a literary series, exploring the story of the man deeply, it could get some succes. It is, to my eyes at least, a catchy idea.

@@Itsjustme108 I really have fun making music to scenes and themes I have in my head, I’m already working on a second “Cathedral” style album haha, three songs in so far! I’m so glad you dig the album man, it means so very much to me and I’m so thankful you took the time
