There is often a volunteer host to answer questions and tell you about the area but you seem to have arrived when no one was there. Too bad you didn't have a flashlight. There's are many things to see including a canoe in that cave if I recall

Awesome video!! Such a fun place to find! Do you think it’s doable to walk to it while babywearing? Of course for the crawling part we might have to maneuver it differently but I think it should work out! ☺️

thanks for this very helpful video. we are hoping to explore around this area when we are staying at Poipu next spring. I'm also interested in Maha'ulepu Beach which I believe was off to the left (east) of Gillin's Beach as you look out to the water. it has some large sand dunes and a rocky cove which are both quite unique to find on Kauai. I had to laugh when you said you hated Maui. I dont hate it but it certainly is over rated and hyped. all those resorts on the upper and lower west shore are built on that dry part of the island and the greenery there is only because it was purposely planted and irrigated. I do like the north shore around Paia and Haiku as well as up country area.
