If you're fluent in Uyghur, you can travel all around Uzbekistan and other Turkic countries without any translater. Believe me, you can have at least basic conversation with locals which is fine!😊

Respect. Love this series. I can't imagine it will be discussed in these vlogs, but were you at all exposed to or did you learn anything about the reeducation camps?

I have heard stories from my Uyghur friends, but as I am physically in China, talking about it publicly would jeopardize my safety and that of my family

I'm a Turkish guy and i understand what they say more or less, even though I've never studied Uyghur language. That feels weird but they are also Turkish people after all. :D

they are the truth Turks. The genetic of Turkish people are more more close to Greeks than Turk origins.

I think there is no such thing like "original Turks" but they definitely managed to preserve Turk culture better than Turks in Türkiye. But I'm not an expert ^^

It's actually quite fun to watch and quite motivational. But still, because of your work in Shanghai which is far away, it's a pity that you wouldn't be able to have the chance to emerse in the language very often.

@@phoenixhou4486 it wasnt look like this even before the earthquake, this residential area once surrounded by the visible city wall and no house was higher than the wall. but the Uyghur tradition is that u build an additional floor when a new generation born in the family, so this area kept piling up in the past 100 years
