you can use white acrylic markers to write on the embossed text. then no messy excess paint to clean up. That's what I do for my panels

Sir! You are great! Thank you for sharing your electronics knowledge so willingly. At the end of the video, you say that there will be code you wrote you for this project. Can I ask you for a link to this video because I can't find where is it on your list on your youtube channel?. Thank you very much in advance and best regards and wish you all the best!

At one point I was conceptualizing a similar project using similar recessed text. I had considered using paint, as you have. However, I also came up with an additional option which might be worth testing. See, I am an old nerd. I remembered the old Dungeons & Dragon box sets that came with dice and a single wax crayon. The crayon would be applied and used used similar to your paint. No drying waits. Unfortunately I never got around to making the project.

That sounds interresting. So you'd put this crayon on the first paint coat or before the first paint coat and rub the paint off afterwards?

@@Bitsanddroids no. The crayon would be rubbed into the recessed numbering on the die, filling in the 'channel'. Any excess would simply be wiped away with a tissue.

Love all the work you've been putting into this endeavor, I've been inspired to create my own as well! I was wondering if navigation radio frequencies will be added to the library soon? I'm trying to get a full dashboard with these included, but I know you've said they haven't been implemented yet

I believe they are already in. What frequencies are you looking for specifically?

Wow, this is great! Thank you for sharing! I’ve been using Mobiflight, but looking for a more direct/custom solution that works practically directly with the sim. I assume one could make modules like this essentially plug and play? Does any software need to be running or does the Arduino talk directly to MSFS once the sketch is upload it to it?

Sorry for the late response! They do require a piece of software I've developed. After first setup it's a matter of hitting the start button though.
