Track The Last Goodbye by Odesza is a great example of similar concept. They may have use the simpler arp modulation method in a sampler that triggers a sample at decreasing or increasing rate rather than a volume automation but similar sound.

Great question. It's best to automate the mix, and have it smoothly transition, rather than a jagged edge, square transition. When you automate the on/off switch, it always clicks for me. So, just automate the mix within shaperbox, or the mix in you DAW

Gross beat is what I use to do this, free and easy, but limited to the presets for this type of effect. If you know how to use gross beat, you can make your own types of these effects though!

I thought that technique was by shipwreck Stutter effect is literally wobble chord used in future bass and DNA But in this case,it was inspired by Odesza I guess U can literally generate it juz in Serum tho ;_;
