In this part, we get the final 5 Emblems from the Chao Races. This took me roughly 3 Hours to do from scratch, but I edited it down greatly to this. PLEASE READ BELOW for information on what is going on in this video or you'll just get confused!

I start by showing the basics of how to raise Chao on the Hint Screen. To summarize, you need to raise their 5 stats: Swim, Fly, Run, Power, Stamina. The first 4 can be raised by giving Animals to Chao that you get from Mission Stages (You'll likely have seen animals appear after you destroy an enemy. You can touch them to collect them and can take up to 10 of them with you back to a Chao Garden). The final stat, Stamina, can only be raised by feeding a Chao fruit. You can pick up an animal or fruit and walk into a Chao to give it to them. Once given an animal, it is instantly used up and some of it's appearance will literally rub off onto the Chao as well as the stat that it represents. There is a glitch you can abuse if you like that can significantly shorten the amount of time needed to raise a Chao using Animals. To do this (as you'll see me demonstrate in the video), simply drop an animal a short distance away from your Chao and it will act as if it used the animal without actually doing so, meaning you can use it over and over again as long as you don't accidentally give it to the Chao for real. It's tricky to get the hang of but it saves a lot of time. Below are the lowest requirements I would recommend before sending your Chao to the Chao Races:
1. Make sure Swim, Fly, Run, and Power are all Level 60 or higher, the higher the better of course, but you'll never need to reach 99.
2. Try to have your Stamina at least Level 10, this stat allows your Chao to move through the race without slowing down. The higher the level, the longer they can keep going at full power.
3. Evolve your Chao into an Adult Chao. It doesn't matter if you choose a Neutral Adult, a Hero Adult (Halo), or a Dark Adult (Spike Ball, like mine). My Chao suffered and struggled as a Baby, but once it matured it left all the others in the dust. It can take up to 3 hours for a Chao to evolve.
4. Once everything s said and done, let your Chao sleep before racing. If your Chao doesn't sleep, it will attempt to do so various times throughout its races and may even trip often. Let it sleep if it wants to, and let it wake up on its own.
With these met, it's time to Race, so enter the large double doors in the Station Square Chao Garden. Once inside, you'll first have to complete the 5 Beginner Races that give you a brief taste of what's to come. Enter your Chao into each race and simply watch them crush the competition. Once you finish all 5 courses, you will unlock the Jewel Races which unlock the 5 Emblems. These races are much harder, but as long as your Chao met the previous requirements, you should be fine. Each Jewel Race will reward you with an Emblem until you get all 130 Emblems.
Lastly, once you get your 130th Emblem, Metal Sonic will unlock in Trial Mode.
