I feel like we need to give Asante a few more years. The dude was insane in college and high school. And jazeer Taylor needs to be on special teams. That's where he shines. That's where he shined at Wake Forest dude is a beast

I think Asante is going to be just fine.. now that the whatever staley was having the defense try to do is now in the trash where it belongs .. the defense can go back to actually playing football.

Staley wasn’t a good coach but plenty of Chargers fans overrated their roster over the last few seasons. During the last few seasons they’ve had ave LBs & DTs overall. Samuel Jr isn’t a #1 cb. They’ve had a revolving door at nickel corner. And Davis was consistently inconsistent.

I'm REALLY hoping that we'd sign both of these guys. 1st is Simmons, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of him locking up our good WR'S every time we play the Donkeys! Time to turn the table on them. 2nd is Gilmore. Yes I know he's 34 but, when Diggs went down with an injury last yr he stepped up and took over the job. It didn't look like Diggs was even missing. They'd both be cheap and with us signing all of these 1 yr deals, he'll it won't hurt to try them. They're both better than anyone else we've got right now also. What do you guys think?

I would like Asante and Cam Hart as the outside corners with Heeb and Fulton being our nickels. If Hart doesn't perform, let Fulton play outside for this year and give Hart time to learn the NFL game. I think guys like Ja Taylor and Deane Leonard should be special teams guys and only play if we have major injuries because I think that is their strengths

U make good points, just remember it's NOT a BS system anymore ran with his guys. This a MINT D. It will not lay down. It will not fold. It will lift Plates and workout. It will take the run away. It will go after the QB. It has depth. It has Strength. It has a better System. Much better Conditioning. The rooms look good. I'm excited to see the damage this D will do to opponents Offenses. Good Defense is what wins Championships. Just to get to the Championship, must play good D. When ya have to punt, that D is what saves ya. U gotta go fight for it? Then u need a quality D with ya. When the D is correct, u can win with less points, taking the pressure off the Offense. Then we get that #Balance where we play a Offense and Defense that compliment each other. Lowers injuries on both sides. Complimentary Football. D doesn't stay on field too long soaking up injuries and Offense doesn't have to over exert itself, soaking up injuries. Play as a Team with Teamwork instead of divas. Teamwork is how we can beat kc and Teamwork is how we can win us a Championship imo. ⚡️🌞♈️☯️🌊🏆

Easy brother. Staley had a way of fucking players up. Any player that had talent and couldn't succeed under Brandon Staley is not a wash. As the man said" competitors welcome. I think this team is going to surprise people. Harbaugh said he wanted to hit the ground running and I see this happening. As I said " Staley is not a bad coach. He just is not a head coach." COACHING MATERS.

@Michael_Maclane I really do think that Staley’s defense was so confusing and trash that ASJ, I predict will, have a breakout season. I say this because despite having a terrible defense he still was the most consistent and he plays the ball pretty well when it comes to interceptions. Even DJ took a step back under the Staley defense and we all know what DJ is.
