With any portable beer setup it can be challenging to keep the beer from foaming up too much. But you can get amazing results by simply sticking a hose in a hose.

I used to work for a dental company as a service technician, dental units are made with a lot of tubings and flow controls, one of the manufacturers is called dci out of Oregon or Washington State I cant remember which but they sell everything. Everything is food grade.

Ayyy. This is a great idea and also something I've been struggling with. The nukatap flow restriction kinda sucks for eliminating foam. Thank you

nice to see guys using thinn 3/16 lines i refuse to ever use anything else then these super thinn lines, tryed all 1/4 5/16 everything turns to foam now i use 2 meter 3/16 never much foam, just use john guest fitting they got reducer for any sizes would be cool to see a balllock to pushfit valve then to picnik might be same as flow controll tap :D

4mm ID EvaBarrier at 4ft in the fridge is very nice with a flow control ball lock. It’s seems the ball lock is doing a lot of work but I can serve at any PSI but you are correct. It’s foamy bit it knocks out a lot of co2 from suspension so now I do around 10psi after carbonating around 25 since I like my cider really carbed

I have no idea why Keg Land doesn’t make up pre-made kits like you do. Such an opportunity lost

I'm new to all this, could you write a step by step, with diameters/ etc?! I need to out and acquire this for my portable set up. Unfortunately, I'm not in Canada, else I'd just buy one.

Great video! Really like the development process here. Do you only sell the blue hose with kits, is it bundled with anything else like your clear vinyl tubing, or can it be bought directly?

Fantastic share...very effective, inexpensive way to perhaps -SHORTEN- kegerator/keezer beer lines yet keep flow control. Question: How does this hold up to long term use and tubing cleanliness?

Maybe check out the Ultra Tap Twist flow control faucet from Keg King. Works great with mini kegs or elsewhere

Interesting. I usually just use a long 3/16" hose for my picnic tap, but if I understand correctly, you just stick the 3/16" into a 3/8" hose and that enables the hose to be shorter while getting the same restriction? I look forward to trying this. If nothing else, it might look better. Having a coil of long line looks a bit silly. :)

The NukaTap FC taps create WAY too much turbulence and make the foam worse in my experience.

I Just changed my 4 years old pretty used standard cone restricted taps to Nukataps and after few days of use I tend to agree with you that it's worse from this point of view than the earlier standard taps.
