That was one of the best iceberg series I've seen. I thought I knew this subject inside and out, having been fascinated by it for years. I think I've watched just about every documentary on it. But there was tons of stuff I didn't know in these. Thanks for the work you put into these.

2:14 I was always curious about recordings on the night of the disaster, as I remember them being mentioned in some book's. But when I inquired Alexandr Kupnyi regarding the matter he was quite adamant there were no audio recording equipment in the control room and that no recordings existed(the book I quoted he said was not trustworthy) so I kinda dropped the subject. 🤔

Since you have made dedicated videos for many of these entries, You should make 10 playlists, 1 for each tier, containing the Iceberg chunk for that tier and all your videos pertaining to the entries on that tier. This could both give topics for new vids, and give you an excuse to cut up and remaster chunks of your older vide, to specifically talk about just the Iceberg entry

This was more than worth the wait. Episode three, and he starts off with the MKER🎉. That schematic you showed is all I could find about it, together with one page of information about the improved safety features it would have. And while I did know they would eventually want to build the station to house 12 reactors, what I didn't know is that Units 7 through 12 would have been MKERs. And that the RBMK was actually built to withstand a plane crash was new to me too. I mean, the RBMK is by no means made out of porcelain, they're very robust, sturdy reactors. However, this was another surprisingly new piece of knowledge to add to my folders. What an awesome video. You really outdid yourself on the revision of the Chernobyl Iceberg. Can't wait to see what you've got in store for us next.

Thanks for putting the three videos on almost everything known about Chernobyl. Mark Felton covers the use of the assault tanks, suggesting they were trying to punch holes in the lower walls of the buildings to control water flow. Also, I think the antenna array design was used as a prop in the Divergent movie as the top of the containment wall and fence.

In season 5 episode 3 of Chris Tarrant: Extreme Railways (A Journey Too Far), our titular hist visits the Chernobyl exclusion zone. I believe some railway lines that approached the exclusion zone were in service at that time in Ukraine.

I double checked, and yes, this is the train from Slavutych to Chernobyl. This train line was the only line spared because it was (and still is) used to transport the workers; the station is new and was built in 1988.

Just quick reminder. Kursk 5 is just a casual RBMK with MKER octagonal shaped graphite stacks, which were added in the 90s, when they still believed in the unit the to be completed. I even have a drawings, if you want them. First MKER should have been built in Leningrad instead of VVERs in late 1990s and early 2000s. Also, Chernobyl 7 to 12 would be VVER-1000 and they also planned a heat nuclear plant near Otashev village. I have some materials if you are interested. Anyway, nice video.
