Him having a talented arm and pocket awareness is an understatement.

I have been a Bears fan since the 60's when I became a fan in the 2nd grade and through the years there have been ups and downs; I don't expect the Bears to win the division, go to the play offs and win the Super Bowl every year but I do expect them to be competitive. The past several years someone does well in training camp and the preseason, everyone goes crazy. No thanks, I'll wait until the regular season starts and then we'll find out if the Bears are for real or not.

I think caleb showed poise and looked confident out there. He passed the eye test for me with those two drives. He is a rookie and i expect some bad days but i feel good about him and this team. I believe they will be competitive, poles built a well rounded team. Bear down.

Rolling out to his right, because the left side of the line isn't holding up . Caleb believes in Darnell Wright

Not true. Those were designed boots to the right

Bc physically a right armed thrower has more power running to the right.

@dnice33 Yes, he legitimately might be the best right handed college QB rolling left and throwing I've seen. RG3 was a beast at that too, and Mcnabb in the pro's. That's coming soon.

I think Caleb has done very well, I have seen this many times before. Wait until we are 5 games in. This is the 2nd preseason game.

I’ve seen this type Of hype before I’m a long time bears fan since 1985 and seen QBs come and go and these Chicago sports analysts love to hype shit up when a new QB comes to Chicago they said the same thing about Justin Fields when he got drafted now he’s gone so there job is to hype CWs talent and one preseason game can’t measure his ceiling I’ve seen this before in the past when new QBs wins there first preseason game every bears fan gets excited but when they play there 2nd game they end up struggling big time so I want to see if CW can continue this type of play in his 2nd start with his pocket awareness and spread the ball around to His other weapons and not just target Dj Moore but I’m sure there working on that and #1 is just be smart with the ball and not create INTs that’s the problem with the QBs we had through my bear fan experience that cost my team big games in the past and cost them there playoff hopes so hopefully he can build off this game and not be too cocky about this one game cause it’s only preseason and opposing defenses is not playing 100% on the field not until the first regular season game that’s when we can measure his ceiling every defensive player will be on him targeting big hits and all That making the rookie uncomfortable in the pocket

Most think the bootleg pass to Kmet was THE highlight, but not for me. I knew Caleb could do that. The "no look" (Caleb said he saw Swift's gloves so wouldn't take credit for no look) flick, which had a perfect spiral and touch, was by far the highlight. Firstly, Caleb made that throw while a defender had a hand on him. Secondly, it was effectively a "no look" because his head and body were turned away from Swift. Why is that important? Because it takes half the defense out of play, they are covering receivers on that side of the field and cannot jump the screen route early. Caleb, by doing what he did the way he did, MADE that play go for 40+. Not all QBs even get that ball out, and if they do it's always gonna be an obvious screen to the defense, probably won't hit Swift perfectly in stride, and that play goes for 5 or 10 on average. Compare that to how Caleb did it, where Swift had a chance at the end zone if he didn't trip. That play was the true highlight, but everyone is distracted by the more obvious play to Kmet. Which was also awsome, 😂
