The Chicago Sign Painter: Ches Perry
Meet Ches Perry, a sign painter in the Chicagoland area since 1970. Ches has designed and created some of Chicago's most recognizable hand painted walls and murals in Chicago, this is a look into his process and story of how he got started in sign painting. Ches got his training at the Institute of Lettering and Design in Rogers Park and went on to purchase Brownie Signs in Evanston, where he owned it for 25 years. He is now the lead sign painter at Right Way Signs of Chicago, a leading sign painting and fabrication shop located in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago.
