In the mid 90's, way after the teen pop explosion had fizzled out in favor of alternative/grunge, Gibson showed up in an unlikely place.
I actually like the chemistry she has with the band back stage, she doesn't seem to take herself too seriously when they tease her about her past etc. She breifly talks about the music scene at the time (late 94/early 95) which I found interesting because it was 180 degrees away from where she came from.
Looking back, there is something so endearing about this clip. Just a few years later, the tides would shift again (at my high school, at least) away from alt/grunge to hiphop, electronica and generic dance pop.
Also keep an eye out for that classic 90's "hardcore-no-nonsense-grunge-rocker" font that was so popular at the time.
