When I hear smart about a QB, that is a good sign. I want a leader who won’t panic and who can make good decisions and make decisions pre-snap, the hard part about the NFL seems to be mastering a playbook early on. And that matters because you also have to be able to break down coverages pre-snap and process the coverage after that in case it was disguised.

If you can make the right read, you do not need to be a creator. In fact, it’s better to make the right pre snap read vs being a creator because the right pre snap count is something you can rely on, being a creator does not always work. The comparison would be Brady vs Vick, Vick was a much better creator and had great arm and accuracy, but he didn’t really read pre snap well and therefore never took his game to the next level.

Bro how tf did you get anything about his race from this video? I like Stroud, but them commenting on his lack of mobility throughout the season has nothing to do with him being black. Anyways, he showed his ability to use his legs to extend plays in the Georgia game. Don’t know why you have to bring race into this unless you are trolling (hard to tell nowadays)
@skylimitkt
Жыл бұрын
@@j.priceyhis point is! Every year when there is a black QB who can run, they want him to change positions, they question his ability to throw the ball or his ability to run a NFL offense. Now with CJ stroud he can do all those things , and now the criticism is about his ability to run! It’s ironic. Especially since any one who has watched him play BEFORE the Georgia games knows he can create with his feet, he just didn’t have to do it as much! Race will always be a issue with Black QB’s and how they are unfairly critiqued.
@jwash5784

@@skylimitkthis passer rating drops from 130 to 80 under pressure, he barely has over 100 yds rushing the entire year and averages 2 yds a carry. Saying that he’s always been a creator is just false. Literally the consensus QB1 is black i don’t want to hear this bullshit anymore.
@fakename5308
Жыл бұрын
@@skylimitkt no; it’s not ironic at all that a one dimensional qb is going to be critiqued for it regardless of their race😂 The ignorance of people like you is truly baffling. Mac, Tua, and Pickett were all shit on for their lack of physical talent WAY more than Stroud coming out. And whenever a white qb fits the black stereotype of a raw physical talent, they get called out for it by the media and drop in the draft just like a raw black qb would (Herbert, Allen, Lock, Corral, and now it’ll be Levis). Any qb with a deficiency is going to have it called out by analysts whether that deficiency is pocket passing or creating plays outside of structure. This has consistently been the case for well over a decade and a half
