@@extrastype but they were a punk band and said to be inspired by the Sex Pistols were they not? This is too polished stuff (good nonetheless), but it marks a terribly downward shift from Punk to softpop-cum-reggae stuff. Yes it is dub too, but they went too far down (strictly in my view) from being hard core punk to bring out something like this. I am sure Sex Pistols would have disowned them - but it also has indications of pressure on them by an established label they chose to work with - CBS.

Falls noch nicht bekannt, empfehle ich dir von Cock Sparrer das Album Outtakes/True Grit. RockNroll at its best. Drinking and driving von the Business würd ich durch Harry May ersetzen - das hat Pfeffer im Arsch : ) Beastie Boys hab ich vermisst, wo die doch ein RiesenRepertoire bieten, das ganz weit über HipHop hinaus geht. Listen to "in sound from way out" and "Mix up", und du wirst nicht enttäuscht sein, versprochen. Die einzig wahre ArmagideonTimeVersion ist übrigens die live in London '79. Wasn geiles Ding. Justice has become just ice for some who succumb to being dumb. The war of words is not more worth than mirth on Earth. Yet I will still thrill and return to a peace no priest can preach as I welcomed from my worldly roam, where my heart is home and the end a friend.....

Which is the title The Clash gave to the first version they did of this song. This is the "B" - side.

what a tune this is. never gets old, like a lot of their dub stuff. Go on JOE!! The Clash spawned the mascelaros and BAD (Big Audio Dynamite), and Carbon Silicon as well. Says it all. Pure class. Mick Jones legend too!!

There wouldn’t be a Clash without Mick Jones. He changed Joe from Hippie Gypsy to punk after their first 6 hour meeting stair down!! . Legendary So Joe cut his long hair into a skin shaved Mohawk.
