Rock as good as it gets. No one was ever better than this. Not the Stones, and not The Who. No one.

Responsible grown-up? Overrated. --From a 64-year old with adult daughters. Headon? Avec batterie ? Tops was always Le Kicker du Ass. Sans batterie? Not so much. Heroin and too much time.

Cheers, mate. Always. Rare are the days that Joe, Mick, Paul, and Tops don't, at least for a fleeting moment, come to mind. Some people "come out" as declaring a sexual identity. Fall 1977-1978 began me coming out as my true self: not sexually, but as a whole person. It took a while. Their, and especially Joe's, successes and failures were parts of what became my entirety. A guy called Sid G. who lived 2600 or so years ago, had a lot to do with it. But I can say that from the snap of Topper's snare drum at the opening of "Safe European Homes" to the "ding" of a meditation bell, to the "congrats, you're the Father of..." all have had equal parts of in the development of a good life.

Bit too much coke on Micks part i think, He well fucks up on Garageland, its all over the place, Topper as well but not as bad. Especially towards the end. 15:30 The gig kicks up a notch but is when it starts to get sloppy. Janie Jones onwards is like a different band, back to 3 years earlier. I think the difference is back then they were taking speed but here its coke. Brilliant gig. Brilliant band. Will last forever.

I honestly was just thinking how great this set is...Mick doesn't seem to be doing too badly at all to be honest. He seems normal enough. I also think that fuck ups in a song like Garageland actually make sense. It fits the spirit of the song more than playing it perfectly.
