Im still thinking the titans and hive ships are two separate entities. Hive ships were Thargoid cities. The titans seem to just be about collecting materials. We will see how wrong that thought is going further. I think the hive ships from old lore are still hiding in the col 70 sector systems.
@GalnetDigest

Could well be. I notice one of the voiced logs had "hive ship" replaced with "mothership", presumably after the voice had been recorded. So they may be separate entities.

@@whendarknessfalls6969 it is funny to look at like that but that's basically what's goin on. The barnacles and their forests, the matrix sites and the titans, even dropping mats in front of the calmer goids outside of the Thargoid war systems will cause them to come and pick it up before they leave. They are collecting supplies for something. Always thought they were gearing up to move in the hive ships from the old lore. I.e. The other three games and the books that goes with them.

Of course I simply have to thank Galnet for the shoutout at the very beginning, but that's the least of the praise I will heap on this masterpiece of a video. For those who truly love this game and the narrative it continues to embrace us in we are in your debt for compiling this continuing history in one convenient place for reference.

I feel like the holidays just came early! This is amazing work, and absolutely worth the time. I know this most have been a tremendous amount of work, but I hope we get to see more long form, in depth coverage like this in the future. Living through a lot of this and having visited most of the locations and participated in most of the major current events, you lose track of just how much has happened. I'd forgotten about so much of this, though other bits are positively burned into my memory. Much, much appreciated! The lack of in depth coverage like this in the galaxy makes me miss Sagittarius Eye.

i know this is centered on azimuth, but i honestly would have find it interesting to see parts added, even very short ones, also on the existing human resistance against The Witch, and some even taking the side of thargoids, avancing that they are in reality protectors and no aggressors, a bit about Palin and Ram Tah who had their importance too into all that and their divergent points of view, the "infos" (delivered by ram tah and his need of money for his researches on guardians tech) on thargoids and their possible motives of visceral hatred against the guardians and their technology, that makes them attack the ships and stations, all without exception found in possession of that kind of technology, and so possibly be taken for guardians by mistake, which could have brought to the fact that the Kingfisher has clearly volontary been set up with guardian tagged things in its cargo to be destroyed at the arrival of Taranis. maybe a bit on the Far God cult and the guardian AI, and of course a little bit more about the possible project Nemesis, more about the fact (i liked that you talked a little bit on it) that since their return, and without guardian stuff involved, human commanders actually had pacifist contacts, interactions and exchanges with them, they didn't killed any humans completely freely just in mean to kill, and so on these human interactions with their techs, which lead also ingame to small puzzles to be solved and understand to know their short term intentions. more about the humans invading and colonising their already claimed space in nebulas and pleiades, and of course a note on the new and surprising hybrid thargoid guardian artifacts. I anyway loved this reminder video, like every one of your videos released almost each day, you always really do a great work on them, and i undertand that if you had to talk about every single little point of the vast story and lore of elite, just on azimuth, thargoids and guardians that video would have last more like 4 hours and been way too long. thank you 💚

I never took Azimuths bribes. Every single CG I was there to resist their efforts. The Witch is evil. But the morons in our player base saw to it that those CGs succeeded. Now, two years later and millions dead what do we have to show for it? SCO. Big woop. The witch can keep his trinkets, he'll need them when I'm coming for his head.

We got the enhanced AX multicannons, missiles, and the xeno scanner, thereby not needing to rely on only guardian tech to defeat thargoids. We have also learned more about thargoids than we previously did. Yes many have died for it, and we still haven't cleared out the titans nor HIP 22460, but I would say it's definitely been more than just SCO drives.

@@BloodravenD We got a thing we didn't need, a thing we didn't need, a thing we didn't need, and SCO FSDs (which we also don't need, though they're nice to have.) If you didn't provoke the Thargoids before the Proteus Wave disaster, you didn't need AX weapons because they were passive. All the things you got were only necessary BECAUSE the Witch made them necessary. You can't give the man credit for giving you something that you only needed as a result if his misdeeds. This would be like thanking someone for giving you a vaccine shot right after knowingly infecting you with the virus the vaccine treats. You shouldn't be thanking them. You should be mad as hell you needed the vaccine in the first place.
