I'm 31 yrs old I grew up around the two cylinders and other old tractors from that era. It's nice to see see someone around my age that has a interest in the old two cylinders. I belong to a tractor club and we can't get any my generation ot younger involved we got a couple. Yes the G has that special sound especially with a straight pipe and I love the sound of the two cylinder diesels they have a special sound too

Very cool seeing you have Meridian seed tenders, they are made in Winkler, Manitoba 7 miles East of us! Also the MacDon header is made in Winnipeg, Manitoba, an hour away.

The planter itself is fine, just the stupid sensors are junk. Seems like anyone who had a 2021 model year planter had the same problems that we did. It got so bad on the bean planter that I couldn’t use guidance or see the monitor because the sensor code wouldn’t go off the screen. I had to use my markers, and I did pretty darn good.

Hi new to your channel from Australia. We also have what we call a Kelly Chain, but is a brand called Brookfield. Help me out what is the Gumbo soil you refer to all the time. Thanks from Down Under.
@goldingerfarms9357
2 жыл бұрын
Gumbo is a type of soil that has a lot of fine clay particles in it. In northeast Missouri, we only find it in the Mississippi River bottom. It cracks and dries terribly unless it is irrigated, and doesn’t work up very well with a conventional tillage tool, but the Kelly does an excellent job on it. I have no idea what soil in Australia is like, but it’s very different from any other soil

What's the difference between the 9RX scraper tractor and The ag one
@goldingerfarms9357
2 жыл бұрын
The scraper tractors have a different drawbar and high flow hydraulics. They also have autoload. The ag ones have the regular hydraulic hookups and a cat 4 or 5 drawbar. There may be more differences but I don’t know them.

@goldingerfarms9357
2 жыл бұрын
So the deal there is that this tractor was in Colorado doing dirt pan work. They must have been in sand and rock because we still find sand and rocks in nooks and crannies. The tracks and bogies and idlers really took a beating from being in those conditions.

That's a pretty big inventory. How many acres do you farm? Here in northern Indiana the land is so chopped up that to farm more that about 1000 the travel times start getting crazy. Old guys retire and sell to developers because they are willing to pay more than farmers can at $3 corn (it's up now, let's hope it lasts) but that makes the situation worse.
@goldingerfarms9357
