In this video, I talk about my experiences on flying with my rifle and pistol, what gear you need, and how to pack to make your trip more enjoyable. Instagram - @distastedefense @ov3rlxrd
Print their instructions to show the VERY EDUCATED and extremely well paid desk clerks their own SOPs. It will save you time. Ask me how I know…

That’s a good tip! I’ve been lucky enough to not have that issue.

I've flown a countless number of times and almost every single encounter was different. Sometimes the airline workers wanted me to clear the weapon, some were scared and had me open the case just enough to slip in the unloaded declaration. Tsa swabs for bomb residue every now and again. One time, the airline lost my pelican case full of mine and my boi's guns, probably about 18-20 surplus rifle stuffed into a pelican 1750. We were freakin out for a couple hours until they found it.

@@johnny8211 I'm glad to know that the experience varies for others too. I guess at the end of the day it is humans writing and executing the policies. Sorry to hear about your experience with the lost pelican!
