Thank you Joshua. Your video is awesome. Can we add enum in StudentRequest? How to map it with Student entity?

Жыл бұрын
Hey! You Sure can, try adding this Create an enum class: public enum Honor { NONE, HONOR_ROLL, VALEDICTORIAN, SALUTATORIAN } Modify the StudentEntity: @Enumerated(EnumType.STRING) private Honor honor; the @Enumerated annotation will help Spring store your Honor enum by letting your JPA/Database know to store the value of the Enum. Add it to your Student request just like any other field: @Builder public record StudentRequest (String name, Integer studentId, Honor honor) { }
