Dear Onke. I remember your grandfather ,Chief Dalaguba, so well, and so so fondly. He was a very regal gentleman who treated everyone the same, taught me to enter a room and say "Aaaaaaaauw THEMBU". He challenged and shaped my naive politics. He was an exemplary host. He was a powerful man through his character, not his position. He carried responsibility with grace and confidence. He was a leader. My partner at the time, painted a beautiful portrait of him. I suggest you contact her and see if it is still around. Hazel - 082 595 4625.

@@Transkei_Stories Please could you get more footage out by KD Matanzima. I dont think enough was done to put his side of the story on the table. In the very little air-time he had in this documentary he gives some very striking comments that leadd me to think he had a greater path to prosperity where as his opposition say very little in the way of development. They only opposed Matanzima because he obtained his power from Pretoria, the same Pretoria we must beg for masks now. We cannot even clean our own cities. Dlomo family matters and how they buried each other s not my concern, war is war. I am concerned with the two different ideologies between Matanzima and Mandela (Sabata). All i am saying is that there is more to be said about Matanzima and the Transkei rather than tem just being puppets of Pretoria.
