They mocked the project. They created a meme where the train was being pushed while it was still on diesel and they mocked the APC government in Lagos state. Some even cursed the projects in many videos when it was still on diesel. Yes, they said they give it 2 years before everything packs up. Others laughed saying they are clueless because APC cannot generate electricity to run the project. I know because I read enough comments and replied to the doubting Thomas's and the Judas that continued to rain curses on Lagos state and the country. The ignorant ones called it a Federal government project and got angry that all the developments are happening in Lagos. When you correct them, they turn it into World War 3. It's sad because when such development is introduced in their states, I'm talking about projects on the drawing board, you will see more than 5 thousand views and close to a thiusand likes and like 500 comments praising the governor and kots of prayer warriors in the comment section declaring positivity on the "proposed projects" and praying for the governors. It's a sad reality. Why do they curse other governors just because they hold a grudge against one person. They find it difficult to say anything positive in the comment section, when they do, it's criticism. My joy is that when I read comments on other states projects or proposed projects, Lagosians don't say anything NEGATIVE about it. They rejoice with everyone as it should be. Hmmmmmm

You do have a valid point there bro. I think the best way for govt to make more money to repay the loan and better finance the metroline is to expand it which is what they are currently doing. For example, if it gets to FESTAC, you will see more patronage. Also, please take note that the train is usually empty during off peak period and always full during the peak period which is in the morning and evening time. Most bloggers go to do their coverage during off peak period that's why you see less people on their video. In conclusion, more works need to be done. God bless 🙏🏽
