Welcome to Mastermind Mastery. In today's episode, host Tina Corner Stolz shares part two of her framework for gaining new members for your mastermind group or business - without ever directly asking for a "yes."
In the previous episode, Tina discussed how to start the conversation and learn about a prospect's background and journey. Today, she dives into the "meat" of the discussion that comes next - the part that sets you up to gain their commitment naturally.
The key, Tina explains, is having an in-depth, curious conversation focused on the prospect. Ask about their vision, strategic plan, challenges, opportunities, and what they're most proud of. Build trust by actively listening and demonstrating genuine interest.
As you discuss, determine what unique value the prospect could bring to your existing group. At the end, summarize what you heard, confirm their fit with the group and the group's fit for their needs. If you've had a sufficiently detailed discussion, their agreement with your summary essentially serves as a "yes" to joining, without you ever directly asking.
