I find it funny that within the LGBT community they talked about not adhering to gender roles and yet the moment they decide that they are a different gender they had here solely to those rules. A man transitioning to a woman starts wearing makeup and dresses and talking high-pitched and becoming more "girly". I was born a girl and I live is a girl and I don't even do all of that so it's a stereotype of women in a stereotype of men and they cling so fully to this.

Interesting that most people who transition with puberty blockers, hormones and surgeries are white. If a black kid tells his parents he's trans, they usually just hope he grows out of it. So the thing about Shapeshifter is he was very damaged by his transition. He (from what I understand, correct me if I'm wrong someone) accepts all pronouns because he doesn't really feel like he can go back completely because of how much his body has been damaged. He also just enjoys dressing like a woman. It seems to me like if he hadn't had surgeries he probably would have just gone back to he/him. He's not one of those people who demands that you call him by all of those things interchangeably like the "genderfluid" people who say it's transphobic or whatever to just use the pronoun you're more comfortable with, or the people who pick a new pronoun every other day, he simply doesn't care what people call him.

Yes - I watch his content here on KZitem. The only reason he put "any pronouns" is because he no longer cares what someone calls him because there is no way he can transition fully back to a passing male, unlike Daniel. It's not that he has a different "gender identity", he knows he is a man. He is a male. He was never female, and he will never be anything but male. However, he has severe medical complications for the rest of his life and he knows he will never go back to looking like a man ever. He will never get his secondary sex organ back. He will probably have breasts until they shrink or he has them removed. He has a channel on KZitem where he actively talks about resisting the "gender delusion" even though sometimes he feels he was happier when he was delusional. But that's the honest truth - delusion is fake happiness. His activism and his testimonies against child mutilation are powerful. I wish this interview had done him more justice.

We are constantly evolving and should be constantly growing, change isn't always bad... it creates a well rounded human and ultimately a better society! So it's not an insult to the community when anybody says that with time and age you grow up, some changes occur in your opinions/ life view ect. Yes some people are genuinely trans but there are also some that are not. That doesn't invalidate trans people! But you can't say you must believe they know who they are, but then invalidate and punch down on the people who change their mind! The absolute arrogance, disrespect and hypocrisy of Samantha to repeatedly and continuously sit there and invalidate Luka's existence and experience by saying things like 'the only cure for gender dysphoria is medical transition' and to tell Luka repeatedly that she doesn't have gender dysphoria and that she was misdiagnosed based on absolutely nothing but the fact that Luka's experience and existence is opposing her ideology and she feels threatened by it. Is that not erasure? is that not discrimination? Because if it happened the other way around and Luka was the one telling Samantha that she doesn't have gender dysphoria and therefore cannot be trans, that would be transphobic, no? I think there is a real issue of entitlement and privilege happening with a small group of people within the trans community (and I want to be clear that I am talking about specific individuals and not the trans community as a whole) and it seems to be the ones that get invited to these debates. Because I have watched several of your videos reacting to these debates and have repeatedly seen multiple times that certain people who identify as trans keep trying to establish rules that apply to them but not everyone else -- for example, in one of the videos certain individuals were establishing that they self identify with certain pronouns and would like to be addressed that way, but when women ask in return to be called women instead of cis women or anything else other than just women those same people did not respect that. The same thing is happening in this one where they want to establish a rule but want it to only apply to them and not everyone else. If you establish rules that only apply to a certain group of people but its not a rule that applies to anyone outside of that small group, then what you are establishing is a privilege and you are doing that because you feel entitled to. I was a tomboy as a kid, hated being a girl and loved doing traditionally boyish things, playing soldiers , action man, dressing as a cowboy etc...had my parents asked me if I wanted to be a boy. i would have said Yes..which would mean I could play cricket at school (girls didnt in our school) Apart from being nicknamed Fred, my parents left me alone to be a kid. Had they asked me and then helped me start transitioning, where would I be now. I am still a tomboy, decades later, but I am most definitely a woman. Dont interfere with the development of young kids, they dont know who they are at that age. Thank God for my wonderful parents who just let me be me, without interfering.

When I was a very little kid I asked my mom if I'm supposed to be a boy because my voice felt like it sounded too deep, i played with cars, didn't like dresses, etc. I felt like I was born a girl but someone must have made a mistake because surely I was a boy. Luckily my Mom isn't a crazy person and told me that I'm being silly. If she had been a lunatic I may have walked down this road and not be the woman I am today and that is so terrifying to me

My niece is 7 years old; she LOVES her long hair, but she’s very tender-headed. If given full autonomy, she would not brush her hair again, until she realized it wasn’t long, and straight, and pretty anymore and then she’d want to brush it again so that it looked pretty again.. not knowing that NOT brushing her hair for so long would make it even harder and more painful to brush out. Kids can’t fully comprehend the consequences of their actions at such a young age, and need to be guided to make the healthier choice, even if it’s not what they want to do!

Kids die in pool drownings every year, they don’t think that not being able to swim is important, they are attracted to the water. The same with fire, the numbers of kids being killed when playing with fire. When it comes to gender, the attraction of wearing a dress for a boy, or wearing boys clothes as a girl is not an indication of gender dysphoria, it is curiosity over what they admire in others, nothing more.

This is a big problem in this new era as well. People ( even parents) are disconnecting from each other… favoring technology and screen time. To be honest it’s always been a problem for certain parents to be more materialistic and care too much how they measure up to the neighbors. Technology just amplified it. I hope you’d be able to talk to your parents about this, and they care to change things , but if they’re too far gone it’s not the end of things. You’re young and have a lifetime to do things different. Let it give you a stronger constitution about how you will live your life, and create a life with your future family. Don’t let it take you down. ❤

I work with kids, and yes there is a LOT that we need to trust with kids in allowing decision making and allowing them to make mistakes and giving them space to feel like they have control, but alternating their body in such a way is too extreme. Kids change their minds constantly, they don't understand some things fully especially long term consequences. They also love to live in made up worlds at young ages because it is fun and not because they truly believe it. I had a seven year old girl pretend to be a chicken for an entire year. And yes, I played along with it only because I knew she didn't fully believe it. Should we actually believe, accept and treat her like a chicken for the rest of her life and force her to be a chicken until adulthood?

Amala, Shape (or Shape Shifter) is that detrans person's online name. He is a biological male who transitioned maybe a decade ago but has had so many probs as as a result of medication & surgeries. They present female bc they can't go back and present male after all the surgeries . They don't care what pronouns are used so i think that's why it says pronouns are he/she/they. Because they know it's hard to look at them and hear them and necessarily think "he" but they know they're biologically male. They were on Blaire White's podcast and explained it all and they have a KZitem channel too where they speak against transing kids.

Your comment is just the flip of what he got from the trans activist side of things... You're saying he should change who he is and what he likes so his personality matches his biology. Trans activist and trans ideology said he should change his body to match his personality (what they consider is "gender") and that's how he ended up mutilating his body. He doesn't have a problem accepting himself as a man. That was the result of trans ideology. But he can't go back and fully detransition either so he's sort of stuck in between being male & female. It's SO cringe when someone says, "no one knows a person better than themselves." That's just ignorant and lazy. Of course people know other people better than they might know themselves; that's what therapy and counseling is for: to take what you think you know or feel and help you interpret it in reality! Also, do you know who knows kids better than themselves? Parents who are involved and wise! This is why we tell children when we know something is good or bad for them even if they fight it. If a child cries at getting immunizations, so we just not do it because they're saying they don't want it? If my 9 year old says he's an excellent driver because he learned from his video games, do I hand over the keys to my truck? What a dumb assertion to say no one knows you better than you.

@L_Martin
Жыл бұрын
It's because in their ideology, they have conflated their mental disorder with sexuality. So having gender dysphoria is somehow exactly like being same-s* attracted. Trans attached itself to the LGB, and successfully presented itself as no different to same-sex attracted people (using the might of the institutions same-sex attracted people had set up and grown through their own struggles, and all good will they'd built up with the general public, as well as the shame and disgrace of doctors and therapists and political parties and other institutions that was collectively felt for mistreatment of gays and lesbians in the past) Lesbians and gays also have a history of being stigmatised as mental illness. So again, trans can make itself out to be no different. The trans project is to say trans people are "born this way", like gay people have. Therefore it's wrong to try and "treat" them like they have anything wrong with them. That was "conversion therapy" when it was done to same-sex attracted people. Bizarrely though, trans people still want their gender issues treated like an illness in so far as they want insurance to pay for their "treatment". So it's oddly very contradictory.

This comment was 9 months ago but I still want to answer your question. I am a Trans Person. What you say about changing my mind to accept my body is the best thing to do at the start, and that is what I did. I was trying to find my way to accept the gender that I was assigned at birth (female) and did go to therapy to suppress my gender dysphoria. "I can't be trans I'm just going through puberty" is what always came to my mind, but after fighting against my mind for 12 relentless years, I made the choice to transition. Yes, I did try to change my mind and not the body, and I am happy that I did. But there was no other option left, after a decade of going to therapy, I am getting hormones soon. I wish I wouldn't be trans, but I came out unlucky. If you have more questions let me know

I've been saying for years that in times of peace, our survival instincts overreact to small infractions. This is why people treat words as violence. They do not have actual violence to use as a reference point. Their life has never been in danger, so being offended is actually the worst thing that's ever happened to them. This is why I think it's important for every single person on earth to get their ass kicked at least one time in their life. Getting your ass kicked teaches you humility and gives you perspective.

I can explain something. I'm not "transgender"(what I call nonbinary community), I'm a transsexual woman. Meaning I was born with a Mental disorder called Gender Dysphoria that was so severe it made it impossible to live as one's birth sex. So to alleviate it I decided to transition medically. I know I am a biological male with gender dysphoria, and I can never be a biological woman. The point of the transition is to live my life as close to the opposite sex as I can and integrate into society and be an effective member of society. I will also preface this by saying. Most people, 85% of people with Gender Dysphoria, grow out of it into adult hood. Not Everyone with Gender Dysphoria needs to transition, and in my option only severe cases of gender dysphoria (like mine) should be treated through transition, and the people with not as severe through Just therapy. Because sometimes their gender dysphoria is caused by their trauma, or other means rather than actual Gender Dysphoria. I also think, for adults with gender dysphoria the roadblocks and the gatekeeping needs to come back if things are to get better. Forgot to mention. I'm 100% against kids transitioning. It's a huge decision to medically transition, and a child cannot make that decision. A child cannot consent to a life of medicalization and sterilization. I transitioned socially at 18, on blockers at 19, and on estrogen at 20. I was in college when I did this.

I think I just had a bit of an epiphany; I've always been pretty tolerant of others and their differences, you know, live and let live and all. And I've definitely always been pretty pro LGBT, even if I sometimes had some less savoury opinions back in adolescence (teens are kind of assholes :p).I would even say in the early to mid 2000's I was probably SJW adjacent (I didn't do anything, really, but defs had that mindset), I sometimes recognize younger me in what some activists are going on about these days. Up until fairly recently (maybe about ~5 years ago) I would definitely have characterized myself as a fierce defender of trans people, and not that I no longer believe it's a thing or anything (I'm pretty open minded, I'll accept a fair bit, and I'm usually generally unbothered), but I have absolutely seen a shift. Sorry for the rambles, the epiphany is that it started feeling like, instead of just trying to blend in to society like it seemed they wanted, if you will (be individual by all means), I feel like the overly vocal parts of the LGBT have just gotten really loud and obnoxious at this point, and it's really hard to keep rooting for :/. I was genuinely worried I was just becoming such an uncaring asshole, who no longer was capable of compassion or empathy, but I think I've just come to realize where my emotional burnout has come from. It's really hard to care for people who kind of seem determined to be unhappy with what they have, and are consistently argumentative. Or maybe people who've decided they know best, and everyone else is just stupid for not seeing that. Understandable, I can be a bit full of myself as well. But to have the audacity, the balls if you like :p, to look a detransitioner in the face and basically dismiss their experience because it doesn't align with your ideals? Gettin' pretty bold, imo 🤷♀

That’s the problem. If you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything. That’s not something you should aspire to be

@@JordeeFam Why stand for something that invalidates others and maybe even your own experience of life? One can tolerate a lot, but no one is bound to stand for a worldview that alienates them.

@@JordeeFam are you alright? You're calling me a groomer because I articulated a reason to not support this radical trans ideology?

There was something that triggered a memory in me. I had a friend in middle school that hates feet and literally tried to, in non graphic terms, "remove" it long before she told me when we were around 11 or 12. She has a bad scar on her ankle as a result of that and while I acknowledge she didn't grow up in the best home environment, that decision and strong willingness to act on it came from a child. There's going to be times when children need to be protected from themselves so I feel the argument of saying "we insult children by taking away their autonomy etc." is just very ignorant and insulting in itself of children's capabilities but also what the human mind and drive for action can do when there's no limitations. Luckily she's fine and in her mid twenties now but it could have been a very different scenario in a situation already without adult influence to deter her from a rash decision.

Lol I was just thinking about making the analogy of wanting to remove my arms because I hated them I would be considered crazy but if I wanted to remove my breast, I’d be “brave”..yeah, it’s the same thing except the idea of transness is so much more damaging to one’s life and is a lot deeper with what’s happening in society... 🤡 world.

my mom got me a tattoo for my 14th birthday, but did not allow me to medically transition until i was 18 and could make that choice for myself. i socially transitioned, but im glad i didn’t medicalize myself until i had been living socially as a man and was sure that was the right decision for me. i will never agree with medically transitioning minors, no matter how much people try to justify it and how hard they push

The fact that there's anyone who transitioned as minor and regrets it should be enough to ban it in most cases, at least. Because this can't be reversed. This is the harm of getting everything you want immediately. What if you don't want it anymore? What if it turns out it was an illbegotten want, not an actual need? It can't be taken back anymore.
