Sends a shiver down my spine every time i hear Scots wha hae. Those words..... You can hear the pride for our once proud nation resonate from them. Burns, the Ploughman Poet, was truly a genius. You can take our lives, But you cannae take our poet!

I believe nedo3365 meant to say "Scots Wha Hae" uses the tune from the traditional song "Hey Tuttie Tatie." It is "Hey Tuttie Tatie" that, according to legend, was played at Bannockburn and the Siege of Orleans.

@nedo3365 Which, at the time, was considered one hell of a feat, since the song was written by Robert Burns, long after both events you mentioned.

This is the true national anthem of Scotland. Flower of Scotland is only used so the Brits won't feel uncomfortable about oppressing the Sovereign nation of Scotland.
