@@Musicienne-DAB1995 I know exactly what you mean... I grew up watching the Cosby Show... Cliff Huxtable was one of several TV father-figures that I actually looked up to, even though they were just characters. But it's hard to look back on such a wholesome show and know the truth. But I don't think the truth blemishes the legacy of the TV show... the show stood on its own merits.

Really? That’s who the female lead was? Thank you so much for that information! Her voice has so much strength that her impact brings even more brilliance and impact to a perfect song. Sorry if I come off as naive, but I genuinely never knew who she was. I’m so grateful to know now. I’ll definitely do more diligent research and find out what else she’s done in her lifetime. I just can’t get over that soul and emotion she puts into this one song. Just incredible!

Not ALL Black Americans were affected by drugs, guns, violence, poverty, incarceration, unemployment, uneducated, bad interracial relationships, etc. ONLY about 32% of Black Americans were affected by the horrific “PLAGUES” of America. The remaining 67% are middle-class, upper-middle class, upper-class, and upper-upper class and we are doing just fine. Our families are wealthy, suburban living, mansion owners, college educated (3+ generations), privately schooled, sorority/fraternity legacies, generational wealth, vast portfolios, property owners/investors, entrepreneurs, judges, doctors, lawyers, engineers, computer scientists, teachers, bankers, brokers, hedge fund managers, etc., and married with successful families. Yes! Jail the prostitutes who blamed him for them not getting paid. I listened to many of those women and got disgusted. They knew what was happening and kept going back...Why? Because they wanted paid one way or another. It doesn't matter if it's $1 or $1000, if you expect something for sex you are a hooker. Hollywood is known for it.
