Watching Cosby show and Claire is singing Cliff to sleep. It made me think about Nancy Wilson and this episode. Tried to get my husband to remember her so I came here. Oh.... such an amazing woman with some of the baddest vocals my ears have ever heard. She's with God now. RIP Nancy Wilson.

As a kid it was Denise but watching the reruns as an adult I definitely find Phyllicia Rashad to be a beautiful, classy woman and it is appreciated even more in these days when class and grace is rare.

Yes you can tell the difference & Phylicia hadn't started singing yet; it was Nancy. Even ignoring that, it wouldn't make cinematic sense for us to hear Phylicia take over as a soloist before we see her singing. If they were singing simultaneously then it would've worked, but not as produced.

Man I miss this. The Cosby Show was a master at incorporating great music into the show. I still get goosebumps when I see this episode. Nancy Wilson and Phylicia Rashad joining Bill Cosby and Moses Gunn in singing "Moody's Mood For Love". Priceless!

What a good quality show!!! As a child, I learned about art, jazz, and education by watching this show. I wish there were good quality shows like this in 2024. We all could benefit watching as friends, and family. That type of quality influence is priceless.

Oh, how I miss Nancy Wilson (just learned of her death). Bill Cosby (so sad for his unjustified incarceration). The Cosby Show (the best black family show ever). Black elegance (the people in this episode as well as the people in my family). Black Love (between black men and women). Jazz (my father and uncles). Sophistication (my mother and aunts). Oh my, how I miss the beauty of what was once black life--at least for me.

I remember this episode fondly. When Nancy sang, I said, "Who the hell is that?" That was the first time I heard her voice and I was captivated. I went out and bought all her CDs. My condolences to her family and friends. She was an absolute light. May she rest in peace.
