Maybe a weird request: could you maybe do a Video about resurrection in the Elder Scrolls? Because it feels like something that works in TES, but seamingly isn't a part of it. Most prominently, Alduin brings the dead Dragons back to live, and while I previously thought, that it makes sense, since TES Dragons are beings outside of time, I recently watched a Video on the shout He uses, that apparently just turns time back, so it _could_ work on other species (provided you have a perfect understanding of time and death, like Alduin has)? Some of the daedra, especially Molag Bal, seem to love bringing people back, either as living or undead. Individuals like Wulfharth and the Nerevarine apparently were brought back several times. In early Lore, priests in temples could apparently resurrect dead people, and it seems there is at least one case in the current Lore, where a priest resurrected a dead Boy. And hagravens can apparently also resurrect the reachfolk, though I read somewhere, that their resurrection spell is an instant version of the briarheart ritual? And then I recently found the Song "Pray to the Hunter", where in its music video, it seems like the man is resurrected at the end. And from what little I was able to find, it seems like the Song is canon?

The third era empire is a history of autonomous regions waging war against other autonomous regions within or beyond the province or several regions within a province having a insurrection within against the empire. With the empire either sending a peace keeping force and diplomats looking for a peaceful solution or helping loyalists put down the insurrection. The third empire may of well not exist given how autonomous the regions In a province is let alone the province itself. An equivalent is if the American states constantly waged war against other states while all belonging to the US with counties within a state also rebelling against the country or the state or counties attacking other counties.

The correct solution to the Skyrim Civil War is the Last Dragonborn staking a claim to the Ruby Throne of the Empire after Mede II dies. Then, he gets oaths of fealty from both Elisif and Ulfric, and is backed in his play for the throne by Tullius.
@K_1_T_S_U_N_E
8 ай бұрын
Nope, that would solve NOTHING. The Dragonborn would still be bound by the White-Gold-Concordant or face a war for which the Empire isn't ready yet. Ulfric and Elisif would not obey the Dragonborn. Elisif wants justice for the murder of her husband. And Ulfric wants to be High King of an independence Skyrim. Oh, and you might just have caused another civil war for the Ruby Throne, as with Titus Mede II dead everyone will try to gain the throne. Surviving Medes, other Nobles, or Generals. And you better believe that the Dominion is trying to cause havik or bring a Dominion puppet on the throne. Also the LAST Dragonborn has little to no claim.

I like how Ulfric is responsible for creating the conditions that lead to his own rebellion gaining traction & leading him to break free from the empire. Talos worship wasn't really outlawed in anything but name until he tried to force somewhere to be allowed to practice it & thus he gave the Thalmor more power in the region of skyrim. Which actually makes sense knowing Ulfric betrayed the empire & helped the Thalmor & still does showing he is likely being supported by them to break away from the empire as it'd remove their last major source of warriors. Leaving the empire weaker & easier to retake. This is the true reason you shouldn't help the stormcloaks. They may have just reasons but their victory is bittersweet as it only slows down the thalmor for a time until they are to break the empire fully. Edit: shit I forgot the Orcs. That leaves them as the only major force remaining in the empire if the Stormcloaks win. Which would be horrific. I do however believe that maybe if we assume after the events of Skyrim that the Dragon borne decides he is to become emperor & forge the right alliance to push back the Thalmor we may see something. I am curious to see how they will take the cliffhanger style ending of Skyrim. Assuming one of 4 things. The Dragon borne kills the emperor as part of the dark brotherhood. The Dragonborne likely sides with the stormcloaks (just due to killing the emperor & helping the legion sounding kinda at odds). Restoring order in Solstheim. Taking care of the Forsworn (either aiding their cause or wiping them out).

Not gonna lie Tamriel seems like a horrible place to live. No freedom of worship and no actual democracy. Imperialism is just the only possible way of life according to literally everyone. Our world sucks in many ways but at least democracy has a chance to function if we band together to make it so

Where do you get some of the cinematic scenes from? The graphics look way too good to be from Morrowind or Oblivion which is why I ask, and if there's a series or movie I need to see it!

I know that we are talking about games made by Bethesda, but Imperial Knowledge feels like what TES could be if done right. Attention to detail, crazy (but weirdly logical) stories and connections. This is what keeps my love TES alive despite Bethesda.

you do understand that all this is possible because of, not in spite of Bethesda, right?

@mygetawayart Yes, but the Bethesda that created the previous material is a memory of the Bethesda today. I love the world of TES, for how non-linear and predictable it started out as. Not the shallowness of a Starfield style game.

@@joshuakirkham9593How is Starfield shallow? It's not meant to be morrowind, Starfield is it's own thing and has its own design objectives which I believed bgs nailed

the lack of knowledge on the situation in elsweyr and morrowind makes it so hard to choose a side on the civil war quest in skyrim when playing a khajit or dark elf :/
