Let me be honest here, after seeing the video in its entirety, and seeing the mess that was happening in the background of it, I’ll say it, it’s a shit game. Despite that, I can’t really bring myself to hating it. Think about it, most bad games are mainly from either incompetence or trying to make a quick buck. This? It’s more of just poor timing and luck. It’s actually a bit heart-wrenching to hear about what exactly went wrong.

Dimitri Pia that's how I feel as well and it's also why I find the story of this game's development so fascinating. It truly makes you wonder what it could've been had the devs not been screwed over. The concept itself seems cool, they were just never given a chance.

It’s hard to give the game itself too much credit when there’s so many technical issues, including a message only meant to appear on pirated copies appearing everywhere, including on legitimately bought copies. @@sheriffaboubakar9720 the level design is shit because it's unfinished, it all makes sense when you realize how many enemies are placed in random locations of the level and how open they are, they literally didn't have time to make the levels better so they just spammed enemies and props around to try to "mask" their unfinished stated.

God I love the style of your videos. You spent most of the video criticizing the game which kind of left the impression that the developers behind this game are incompetent, but when you went in-depth on the development cycle and the struggles their studio went through, it shows that they actually had talent. They were just really unlucky, and got screwed by some shady publishers. Nuclear Vision worked pretty damn hard trying to get this game finished, despite all the shit they went through. They really could've cancelled the game at so many times, and despite what has become of Psychotoxic, it's incredibly impressive they stuck through. That's dedication.

U need to install the game in a virtual machine then take the installation folder in a usb stick. put it in your real machine and then put the only working no cd crack for this game 1.05 version. ALso i know that exist faulty dvds that have the 436 error that was fixed with exchange of dvd. 3) the movies dont work for one simple reason. The videos of the game created one layer with direct x and also have two buttons stop and pause embedded in them that created in opengl . Only in windows xp this can exist. In windows vista and later u cant create a video in directx and have in another layer a open gl. more info here: -sourceforge.net/p/dxwnd/discussion/general/thread/fa988ed6/?page=1

The penultimate level thing happens because you're running the game at a gazillion FPS in moden systems, if you limit the game to 60fps it works fine. That was the only game breaking bug I faced this weekend when playing through it, no crashes, no anything. I was surprised how stable it was for how jank the game was, couldn't get the cutscenes to work though. It's a bad game, but hardly the worst ever. Loved the development mini documentary.

20:09 "You're actually meant to -- with this awful movement, navigate the entire map, with these signs, fighting enemies you *literally* cannot see. Going from _location to location_ ..." This is the most accurate description of Death Stranding.

That was hard watching you trying to input the console commands over and over again. You easily could have restarted the level then put in the commands to get to the next one XD

I cannot believe that the team actually somewhat got trough that ordeal, fitzner seems like he was a great guy and his death is a terrible loss.

I've seen some horrible game mechanics, but 5:30 , 10:40 , 14:09 , 21:55 , 26:13 , 30:27 , I've NEVER seen such hilariously ridiculous stuff! Literally. In Tears. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 The way you told the story behind the game was pretty good. I couldn't turn away. It sucks to see that team go through so much, with so little, just to put out a game that was obviously not what they originally had in mind. 😢 Anyways, welcome back to KZitem! Your Twitch streams are hilarious! You stepped this one up from the last one. 👍👍 Keep 'em coming. GREAT CONTENT!!

I feel like if they remade this game, cleaning up all the garbage story and expanding her powers, this could be a fantastic shooter and extremely refreshing compared to today's market.

I'd love if someone could port these levels into something nicer, like source engine, then populate it with CS bots and simply run through them for the set pieces. Some of them look really interesting.

Someone should just remake the entire game in Source engine.

For all the faults of the game I really dug the art style of the levels and the almost cel-shaded look. Shame that people who put in so much effort got screwed over by the money men again,
