@Cindy Gallegos because it all depends what yarn you choose to use 😀 I have the exact yarn / hook info for my actual work in the description box but you can use any yarn and any hook size you like x

Oh lovely stuff, Robin ! But I have to ask: why the emphasis on marking the beginning as the bottom "right-hand" of the square ? Why turn over and do that ? Why not leave the square with the start point as the bottom "left-hand" ? Just asking ..

I love doing boarders on work. it not only frames the work but if you use a color that compliments the colors of the body it looks cool. I usually use multicolored yarn if my body is solid color

Love this. Have a question. When you were showing the even squares, it occurred to me that it looks like a triangle. Have you thought about doing a combo square with triangles mixed in. Would definitely have to think about the method

It may be just a bit complicated at first, but once you have the groove of it, it's easier than other methods. The JAYG method is a lifesaver, so thank you so much for sharing!

This method of C2C is so much nicer than the ones I did before. The edge really does stay nice and even doing the extended DC as well as doing the cluster in the first space.

Very nice instruction! I love how you use the bright blue background in order to see what you're doing better. My biggest frustration with some channels is how they use a white background when using light colored yarn. I enjoy your channel!

Hello Robin! I love this video on C2C granny square stitch. This is the first time I have seen this technique. I haven’t crocheted in a long time. I was not paying attention when I was watching your video on decreasing so I chained 4 instead on 3 when turning my work. I have already made 4 squares of 10 rows. Do I need to just continue with chaining 4 or with additional squares chain 3 for decreasing on the turn?

This is a great tutorial but I can’t seem to reproduce the results. I have followed along the clear instructions pausing the video at every stitch but I keep creating a crescent which at least has given my husband and I a laugh. I wonder what I’m doing wrong. Later:- I have the hang of it now.

Can you please do a video for an even number of rows because I did 8 rows and I'm getting confused as to joining towards the end of the square. If I skip the last chain and join in the join space I skip and entire row. Please help!

Hi Robin & Jeremy, I am on my 2nd block of row 2 of an even row blanket and seem to be confused as to how to join to the previous square and watching the video over and over has me confused too! Should I have started with the blanket facing the opposite direction? Would that have fixed it perhaps? @Jeremy, how did you go with your even row blanket? TIA Naomi xx

As beautiful as it is to do in squares and joining, I’d like to make a huge C2C Granny Square. I did a regular Granny Square that way once. It makes a square afghan. Thanks for this C2C pattern - it’s so uniquely creative.
