We recommend 320 degrees Celsius on the top element and 300 degrees Celsius on the bottom element. The cooking time should be around 3 to 3 1/2 minutes. Yes, the oven will need to be preheated to your desired temperature. We suggest that you switch on the oven at least 30-40 minutes prior to use. (Also, are you cooking in pans? If so, the oven temperature will need to be between 320 - 360°C and you will be cooking for around 6 minutes.) I hope this helps! I have a single deck waring, I bake at 760 F the highest it goes. Got to have a higher hydration dough for those temps.

How do you like it so far? Is the Waring WPO500? I am looking into single deck countertop ovens for a pop-up one day.

@@AMHK1024 Love it so far and its only 120v. Its takes up to 21/2 hours to get to max temp which is around 730-50 for mine but it stays there no problem. I replaced the stone it came with (junk dont use it) with thin fire brick (4x8x1.25") it takes 8 brick, no cuts. Works so much better as it puts the top of the pizza closer to the elements and stops the bottom from burning, this way you can leave both elements on all the time, no messing around with them. You may need to lay a piece of 1/4" steel rod across the two bottom middle elements as the brick will sag a little when the oven gets hot. I did it and no problems. Just remember, dont use the ceramic stone it comes with unless you want shiny smooth blotchy crust that feels and tastes horrible.

@@bogey19018 Thank you so much for the detailed response! I initally wanted to get a pizzamaster counter oven or a moretti forni countertop, but they both use single phase 240v power unfortunately. Great to know you had a positive experience with the Waring. Happy New Year!

Hello, I have a similar one Cuponne tiepolo. Does it make sense for me to put a Saputto stone 3.5 cm in it? I will certainly improve the characteristics of the pizza oven, I'm just afraid that the temperature might be too low for that stone? Thanks

Hi it entirely depends on your dough. Around 350 top 320 bottom, we always like to run test to be sure we are cooking at the best temp for our dough!

@@MarketingStrategies28 There are many variants to how often you turn a pizza, especially when it comes to the type of oven you are using and the shape of the elements! So, our question to you would be: What oven are you using? 😃

@@MarketingStrategies28 We have never cooked on one personally but from the images online it looks like they use a W-shaped element that is concentrated on the middle of the stone. We would expect to see some uneven baking if the pizza was not turned, because of how the heat is distributed from the element. It is good practice to turn the pizza. You should be able to see from the colour on the crust where the heat is more intense, then you can turn the pizza so the less coloured part of the crust is moved into the more intense heat. Does that make sense? Without physically showing you, it's super hard to explain! Maybe we could do a video on this!
