Love is simple. He writes simple. That's why this song is so beautiful, he captured with sensitivity what many don't realize: The simplicity of love. And this is so immense! Long life to Robert Smith.

True that, simplicity is beautiful “Whenever I'm alone with you You make me feel like I am free again Whenever I'm alone with you You make me feel like I am clean again” Man how true this is for us believers when we're alone with Christ.. But i'll say he does more than make us "feel", he genuinely cleans and sets us free ❤🙏

this kind of music makes me think of a dark night drive down a backroad with the windows down, basically all you see is a short stretch of the road ahead of you while the fresh moist air caresses you back to life, maybe you're on your way back home from the beach and your shorts are still wet or just out night fishing and now trying to make it back in one piece, something that kept you out till 2am and you're caught in between celebrating life and falling asleep or getting caught haha, but the music in those moments is on another level, it's harmonic, the soundtrack to your life, I hope you folks have experienced that, I'm sure you have

It’s funny how the lyrics alone are happy, loving, and promising but the song all together (especially Adele’s version in my opinion) somehow has this bittersweet and just overpowering emotional attachment that comes with with and it’s cool to see in the comments that people from all ages and all experiences can feel that too, and all from the same song. You’ve got to have something special to be able to write a song that can actually transfer energy like that to listeners over time

I relate this song very much with death but in a very comforting sense. This played a lot in the place I worked when I suffered bad anorexia. Eventually, my brain started to shut down to the point my days started feeling dream like. I would get up early to watch the sun rise with this song playing in my headphones. Every single morning. I started passing out in the grass about a week before I needed hospitalization. That was a few years ago. And then when my cat was put down, I heard this on the radio the same day not too long after. While this song has dark connections for me, it was also calming for me in those dark times. something about it’s tune in general that’s tragic and melancholy but also really comforting like looking through pleasant blurry memories.

The feeling he’s expressing in this song is so beautiful to experience. I wish for everyone who has felt it with someone he or she loves to keep on feeling it forever. And for all the single people out there, your time will come; just don’t surround yourself with big walls, even if you get hurt before. Being vulnerable is the only way to connect deeply with people, regardless of the risk you take. Just be wise with the people you open up to. May God bless our souls first with his love, the purest of all, and then with people who truly love us!

My husband dedicated this song to me when we were dating 15 years ago. Now we are getting divorced and he is probably dedicating it to his new girlfriend 💔

I'm only 12 but I love the cure and 70s through 90s music and always will thanks to my dad and the reason why I know about the cure is because I heard my dad listening to this in the kitchen when I was 5 or 6 and i was like "DAMN!!" This shits fire🔥🔥🔥

Yeah the doors had a very dark psychedelic sound that fit the post punk stuff of the 80s. Tbh the doors were way ahead of the pack in the 60s... they hit a particular sound that was so close to the wild West days
