In this video, we share the current state of the Noto Peninsula six months after the earthquake. While the news and media have moved on, we went to the affected areas to hear the voices of the locals and see their situation firsthand.
To be honest, I hesitated a lot before deciding to release this video.
I felt a strong responsibility to convey how the beautiful nature and warm people of Noto are facing difficulties due to the earthquake, but I also felt heartache many times.
Witnessing the reality made me question whether I should share it through a video or not.
However, I decided to create this video with the hope that sharing the voices of the locals might help in their recovery, even just a little bit.
I feel that I may not have conveyed everything I wanted to say, but I hope this video will help raise awareness about the current situation in Noto.
I also hope that your warm support and encouragement will be a great source of strength for the people there.
