Nice! Ya the Czech Defense is a very strong option, and one that many don't even know exists. I'm excited to keep making content on it and thanks for tuning in!

Hey Solomon, according to both the database and Stockfish this is the strongest and most commonly played line for white. 1. e4 d6 2. d4 Nf6 3. Nc3 c6 4. f4 Qa5 5. Bd3 e5 6. Nf3 Bg4 7. Be3 Could you cover it in a future video please?

Thanks for putting this chess opening line on my radar! I made the following video years ago, and can't remember if I included the line or not.... but if you want some theory there is some in my original Czech Pirc Defense video. I'll leave the link just in case you're interested! kzitem.info/news/bejne/uW2YqW1_omN5gmk

This game is amazing for the reason is they are both high level but they sat in the opening until black pushed that rook pawn which is the real start of the attack and then it just start to unfold as simple as that but most of the time you cant on an opening and expect it to work, this is what i see,im glad you showed this game more than to see the opening❤😊

Ya that f5 move was amazing! Great game by Michael Adams. He used the Czech Pirc Defense to get a good middlegame position, and took it from there.

Interesting point about the example of moving the king out of check before opponent has the opportunity to check you. I watch an arena streamer on KZitem and he is always saying "what's the plan". Kinda like you said, high rated players are always looking for plans... For both sides. I'm still trying to learn that lesson.

Hey Walter, ya totally. The better you get at chess, the more of a waiting game it (often) becomes. Nobody really good usually gets steamrolled in the first 10 moves. Instead, it's a slow process where both sides are (even when attacking) playing very calculated... improving pieces... stopping threats before they even happen... etc.

@@TheChessGiant My biggest problem has always been not paying attention to every single move opponent makes. Eventually that's what does me in when I play it. I always make more blunders in the hippo than other openings but since I only play blitz the time advantage is very enjoyable.
